Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar)

Our guide, June, was very friendly and knowledgeable, both about Denpasar and the food we tasted. Absolutely delicious food, including local coffee in places you might not visit as a first time tourist - but will definitely go back to for an authentic local experience.

June was an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable guide! She led us to amazing food that we never would have found on our own, while giving us helpful tips and just having great conversations along the way. She even sent us the names of the dishes afterwards so we can (try to) find them again on our own. She is a wonderful guide and all around good person. 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommended. We wanted to ensure we had the taste of Bali as we tend to pack our holidays with a lot of excursions and this was a way to guarantee it. We were not disappointed. Such outstanding, tasty local food and a good variety. Be prepared to pace yourself because you will want to finish everything that is provided to you. June was a great host and tour guide. Very warm and welcoming with great knowledge. You will be very lucky to have her as your guide.

What a fantastic experience! June is wonderful and points out key places on the walk, she is very knowledgeable. So, much, food!! Brilliant! The Godzilla chicken was awesome, the clay pot, the noodles, the mangosteen, the coffee, the pandan cake…….. Use Gojek as there are no taxis in the main city. Thank you June 🙌🏼

This has to be one of the best food tours I have done. Our guide was full of knowledge on the history of Bali and the food. The tour took us through Denpasar which is very different to the tourism areas Like Kuta and Seminyak. The market tour was awesome as you are amongst locals. The food and amount available was brilliant. Highly recommended

I had a really amazing time experiencing and trying true, authentic Balinese/Indonesian cuisine. Up until that point during my short Bali visit, all that I had mainly eaten were more westernized because of the touristy areas I had been at with my friends. The walk around central Denpasar was great. Truly felt like a genuine, cultural experience because I didn't see many (if any) tourists around. I highly recommend this food tour. June and Yusuf are amazing food tour guides. The foods that June introduced me to, the flavors and textures truly blew my mind. My top favorites were the fried banana and the claypot kuey tiew. Next time I'm back in Bali, I'm definitely going to book with PinkAlien again for another local food tour.
