This will give you a new appreciation for handmade leather goods. So fun and you will be proud of your work with great guidance from a patient teacher and guide.
I went to this leather workshop with no prior experience. Leather master artist Abang was very welcoming and professional. His combination of patience and skills put us at ease. He first showed participants a variety of sample items to choose from for our one-day workshop. I chose to make a cross-body purse. With Abang's instructions and guidance, my purse turned out amazingly good. Located amongst peaceful rice paddies, the leather workshop is well-equipped and very organized. I recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Bali who desires to learn about leather making from a master.
I had a great day doing the leatherwork programme. Abnek guided me through all the processes to complete my wallet. He explained everything I needed to know. I have no hesitation recommending Kaula Leather Workshop for a great day of learning.
I had a wonderful day making a leather wallet. Abnek guided me every step of the way. His knowledge of leatherwork is second to none. I would recommend this activity to anyone, young or older.
My friend and I had a very fun and unique experience in Bali. The instructor was very friendly and patient. It was fun deciding what we were going to make. We were able to customize it to our liking from the type of leather texture to the color of the thread. My friend made a very adorable glasses case and I made a wallet. But when I got home I found out that my cards did not fit in my card slots. Our instructor was kind enough to make me another one just like it and sent it to me even though he didn't have to. Would definitely recommend this workshop!

I attended many workshops over the years in Bali and this is the best I ever attended by far! Abenk and his nephew are so kind, generous, knowledgeable and patient:-) The space is so magical, peaceful and inspiring! I went back a second for another project! If you are looking for a workshop in Seminyak, Canggu, Petitenget area, don’t look further! The location is easy to find as well! Can’t wait to be back on my next visit!
