Baku Walking Tour (Gamle By)

Today visited a tour of the Old Town of Baku. It was given to us by a young Russian-speaking guide, Ruslan. Wonderful and educational tour👍 Guide Ruslan is very positive and self-disposing🩵 Interestingly and with details told about many objects of the Old City. Tomorrow let's go explore the Old Town in detail))

It was a nice experience to have a one-hour walk in the Old city! My guide, Oguz, tried his best to talk on the history and interesting facts about this wonderful place. I was mostly impressed by his story about the monument of poet Vahid and I believe Oguz is proud of working in such a gorgeous place!

When she booked an excursion to Shahdag, we were offered a walk around the old town as a gift. It was a completely personalized tour that guide Oghuz gave. Before that, she had walked around the old city many times, but had ignored many monuments and buildings. After the tour, I learned a lot of interesting things that I didn't even know about before.

Ruslan gave us a very interesting and rich tour. There were many different stories about the location of both historical and simply humorous. Highly recommended

There are people who tell you about a city and there are people who make you feel like the city has been waiting for you. Nazpari is the second kind. She walked me through the Old City and made me feel the history instead of just telling about it, and that made all the difference. You could tell she speaks from the heart and her words are not rehearsed but real and lived, as if she's walked these streets a thousand times and still finds something new to love about them. She was patient, calm, and carried this warmth that made you feel like you were walking with a friend who just happens to know everything about the city. There was a moment where she connected something ancient to something deeply human, how joy and sorrow have always existed together in humans, and I felt that in my chest more than any monument could have put there. She also let her own stories bleed into the history. And that's what made Baku stick with me. Old City is beautiful on its own but Naz made me remember it.

I really enjoyed the tour of the old town of Baku. Special thanks to the guide Ruslan - live presentation of information, it was interesting to listen to the history of the city, so the time passed unnoticed.
