Velkommen til det eneste sted i Montreal, der vil lære dig at lave Montreal bagels! Montreal bagels er verdensberømte for deres form, smag og tekstur. En tur til Montreal er ikke færdig, før du har prøvet en af disse fantastiske bagels. Så hvorfor ikke prøve din hånd på at gøre dem selv? Vi vil lære dig hemmelighederne om, hvordan du laver nogle lækre unikke autentiske Montreal stil bagels hjemme, den nemme måde. Vi vil starte med at lære at blande og knead dejen korrekt. Vi vil diskutere, hvordan forskellige mængder mel og vand påvirker den endelige tekstur af dejen og skorstenen. Jeg har tilpasset de bedste Boulanger (Bread Maker) teknikker til hjemmekøkkenet. Du bliver en selvsikker bager hjemme på ingen tid! Vi vil gå trin for trin fra at blande dejen, lade den hvile, til at forme bagelsene, koge dem, klæde dem med forskellige påfyldninger, bage dem og til sidst spise dem! Denne workshop er superhænder, så det er langt fra værkstederne "Watch the Pro" derude.

A really fun way to learn how to do a new skill unique to Montreal. Good for beginners and advanced bakers alike, all seemed to have fun. The step by step instructions and setup were clear and made it very easy to follow. The instructor kept it light and fun while explaining the mechanics behind the ingredients and the process. Also had fun getting to know some of the other participants in the class. Best of all, you all get to share in enjoying bagels at the end!

I really did not want to leave Montreal without having the famous bagels. There is no better way than to make them yourself. Will was an engaging and easy to follow teacher--he will not allow you to fail! All of the materials you need to make the bagels is provided (including apron, bowls, scale, bench scraper, and ingredients). The workshop is well paced for all levels of baking expertise. I was there with my husband (who has been baking from the sourdough he's been nurturing for over 15 years), and we were across the table from people who had never put on an apron before. All of us enjoyed the experience. Will gave us the full recipe and had some of the items/ingredients for purchase in the shop so you can make your own bagels at home.
The instructor/ owner is very personable and organized. He treats all participants, whether you are a baker or not, equally He keeps the atmosphere light and gladly helps those need it. Best of all, you get to keep and eat the finished product, which is very good.
