The tour was efficient and interesting. I don’t think Avila or Segovia are places I needed full days for, so having the tour taking me straight to the highlights was perfect. Beatrice is the best! She was very insightful and even funny.

It was hard to find the meeting point and I was a minute late and the bus had gone. The tour company were very unhelpful, told me my only option was to take a taxi. I got a taxi (150 Euros) and they did not tell the taxi driver to drop me off in the right place and I then had to walk 20 minutes to meet the guide. The guide talked and walked very fast and did not check to see if everyone was as still there (he left my husband behind). I will not use the tour group again.
Dear customer, you’ve said it all. You didn't arrive 1 minute late; you arrived 31 minutes late, according to your voucher. We allowed you to meet up with the group at the destination. That was our mistake. Please try to be punctual next time.
We enjoyed Segovia and Avila but we wish we had more time to explore on our own and less tour time. By the time we reallized we could walk to the top of the alcazar in Segovia it was too late. After that experience, we made sure to go to the top of the aqueduct and to go to the top of the wall in Avila. The guide was informative but he seemed to lack personality. He often spoke in a monotone. Plus the radio didn’t work all the time and it seemed to cut out right when he was going to say something important. But we made the most of it and since he wasn’t very entertaining it wasn’t a big loss. The tastings are not much but at least there’s something to experience. However if you decide to skip the tapas tasting in Segovia, or the cookie in Avila, it’s not a big deal. Pay attention to where to meet up after and ask questions if you’re unsure because many of us were very confused. Take walking shoes, snacks, and water!
