Found out the best Romanian wines in Brasov. The venue, the food pairing and the service made my day. Good value for money given the amount of wines (6 glases + food) 2 hours of learning in a nice square in central Brasov.

Christian… how to say… no words, just wonderful. If you have the opportunity you should go.

We had a very pleasant experience at Via Enescu. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, and the location has a special charm right in the heart of Brașov. The cocktails were surprisingly good, with unique and very well-balanced combinations, and their presentation was impeccable. The service was attentive and friendly, which perfectly completed the whole experience. A place you truly enjoy coming to, and we will definitely return. 🥂

It’s so rewarding to find out about this not so hidden gem. The Romanian Wines surprised me together with chefs choice of traditional and hunters special food items. First time tried wild boar together with Feteasca Neagră. A very nice sori ling wine with the traditional cream of Eggplant. Wow and wow. The experience wasn’t rushed at all , and the sommelier knew his wines and foods. Will definitely return for Breakfast as advised by our fellow participants.

Honestly, this experience exceeded our expectations. Everything felt very natural and not forced, and the value for what you get is really, really good. We were 6 persons, and the tasting was arranged just for our group, which made the whole experience feel very personal and exclusive. Even though it was advertised as 5 wines, we actually tasted 7, which was a really nice surprise. All of them were new to me, Romanian wines from different regions. On top of that, we also received some extra local Romanian food to taste, which made the whole experience feel even more special and generous. Cristi, the sommelier, made the whole experience. Super kind guy, very easy to talk to, and he explained everything in a way that didn’t feel too technical or boring. You can tell he really knows his stuff but also enjoys sharing it. We learned a lot but in a very relaxed way. Also want to say thanks to Radisson Hotel for recommending this; it was actually one of the best things we did in Brașov. The location is really nice, right in the old center, cozy and with a great vibe. Everything just went smoothly. We also stayed after in the Secret Room for the night, which we highly recommend if you want to extend the experience. Would 100% recommend it if you’re in Brașov and want to try something a bit different.
