Gå væk fra turistmasserne og ind i et ægte venetiansk hjem for en autentisk 3-timers kulinarisk rejse! Denne intime hjemmelavede oplevelse inviterer dig til at leve, lave mad og spise som en ægte lokal. Afhængigt af tidspunktet på dagen, vil du blive velkommen ind i et privat hjem køkken i enten den historiske Cannaregio distriktet (morgen klasser) eller den maleriske ø Giudecca (aften klasser) - to af Venedigs mest autentiske kvarterer. Under ledelse af en passioneret lokal kok, vil du rulle dine ærmer op og lære at forberede en traditionel 3-retters fest fra bunden. Du vil mestre håndlavet "Pasta Fresca", en lækker sæsonbetonet grøntsags hovedret, og den ultimative italienske dessert, Tiramisù. Efter madlavning workshops, samles omkring bordet med dine værter og gruppe til at nyde frugterne af dit arbejde, kombineret med fremragende lokale vine. This was one of the highlights of our trip! I wanted to book a cooking class where we would actually learn and cook, so I read the worst reviews of the top ranked classes before booking with Rosa. One of my best choices! Going into it I was worried about finding the location since other reviews mentioned having an issue, but Apple Maps and Google Maps both went to the same place and we easily found it. Overall I highly recommend Rosa’s class if you want to learn authentic and delicious Italian cooking!

Wow!!!! What an amazing experience. My family had an amazing time . We met new friends ( California & Texas -shout out) Rosa was patient & knowledgeable. Pasta , and drinks were Perfect. Would recommend to anybody that is coming to Venice.. five stars review

If you want an authentic home Italian made meal from scratch that you help make yourself, THIS IS IT! Rosa is amazing, what a sweetheart and her husband too :) our family of four (with 2 teenage boys) whom were NOT interested at all when I told them what we were going to do, found this to be the highlight of our 2 week trip to Italy! Sanitation was a problem. The cooking class was mostly held outside where the owners dog was. No gloves were offered, though they are shown in the pictures on the booking website. Participants used their fingers to mix flour and eggs for pasta dough. We squeezed tomatoes with our hands into a shared bowl. Some pet the dog. Another had a cut on her hand. Once the batches of dough were made by each individual, they were combined to be served to all of us. It was difficult to eat the food we had prepared. If I had been in a restaurant, and saw what I saw, I would have left. I just cannot recommend this experience. I have taken numerous cooking classes around the world, including in third world countries, and never have I been so taken aback by the lack of sanitation. Find a different cooking class in Venice, or elsewhere.

Tactile techniques—such as kneading pasta dough and crushing fresh tomatoes by hand—are deeply traditional culinary methods that thousands of our guests have safely participated in and loved. While thorough handwashing is always our standard practice before and during preparation, we completely understand that this traditional, hands-on approach might not be for everyone. Because this experience takes place in a real family residence, the host's friendly dog is sometimes present in the outdoor spaces. However, we appreciate your note and will remind our host to ensure pets are kept entirely separate from the preparation zones so that all guests feel completely at ease. We will also ensure that gloves are more visibly available for anyone who prefers to use them. We have proudly hosted countless travelers who have cherished this authentic slice of Venetian life, but we always value hearing different viewpoints. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future culinary travels.
Fantastic night at Rosa’s home! This was an incredible way to spend a delicious evening with family or friends. Rosa was warm, funny, and friendly and knows her cooking! I was with my family who are between the ages of 14-72 and all had a great time. Will come visit again the next time we are in Venice!

We had such a great cooking class with Lorenzo. We met outside his apt which was very professionally ready for us. He was kind and thoughtful with our meals. I am Gluten Free and had high hopes of making pasta in this class, and Lorenzo was able to deliver! We made a simple pasta and sauce which were delicious, sea bass which I was very pleasantly surprised with, and a strawberry tiramisu which was so nice. We had wine while cooking and with the meal and had lovely conversation the whole time. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Lorenzo was exceptional. My wife and I have taken many cooking classes all over Italy. This class was inclusive, however, also allowed for each participant to engage as they wanted. It was fun, delicious and perfect for everyone. Thank you for a very special afternoon!!
