Det er en lille gruppe tur. Hvis du er fan af blomster, træer og natur, er dette et must-have. Vi tager dig til Aucklands mest berømte parker, og haver og vådområder. Denne have er en skjult perle ikke solgt af nogen turoperatør. Selv selve rejsen er betagende smuk. Hvis du ønsker at komme ud af byens centrum og ind i naturen, er dette et must. Du vil ikke fortryde det.

Et af Auckland-regionens 14 Tūpuna Maunga (forfædres bjerge). Med sine 196 m høje er Maungawhau eller Mount Eden den højeste vulkan i Auckland. Fra toppen kan du nyde en spektakulær udsigt over byen og dens havne.
Cornwall Park er den største vulkanske park i Auckland. Sir John Logan Campbell forærede Cornwall-parken til New Zealand i 1901 Masser af Aucklanders tager til denne park til picnic og grill. Der er masser af får og køer i parken. Disse dyr ejes af rådet. Med mere end 350 arter og 8000 træer er Cornwall Park et paradis for træelskere!
Beliggende i det blidt bølgende land østlige Auckland. Dette er en af New Zealands bedst kendte haver, kendetegnet ved fejende græsplæner og uformelle, men detaljerede malerier ved damme og vandveje. En stærk, men følsom farveanvendelse er et kendetegn for Ayrlies, der ses bedst i den uhyggelige kant, hvor 'varme' farver bruges med stor effekt og i andre områder, hvor gamle roser, klematis og stauder kombineres i romantisk overflod. Haven dækker nu omkring 4 hektar kuperet terræn med store græsplæner, damme og vandfald. Nu over 50 år er haven ved at være moden. Træer og buske danner en skiftende kulisse for haven. Udsigtslinjerne til Hauraki-bugten og i haven er bevaret med omhyggelig trædyrkning. Et stort Ayrlies-vådområde forbinder haven med havet.

Lenna was wonderful. She was our personal guide for the day. We visited beautiful Ayrlies Garden & Wetlands and Cornwall Park with spectacular views. Would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are a gardener and hopefully get Lenna as your guide!

Our guide was excellent - arrived on time, provided guides to the gardens we visited, knew the spots to view the highlights and drove a route that allowed us to enjoy scenes around Auckland. We were the only visitors in the morning to Arylies Garden which was an outstanding garden to visit.

Ayrlie Garden and Wetlands are stunning! We also loved seeing Mt Eden and One Tree Hill parks Lenna was our charming and attentive driver. The nature tour was a great way to spend the day. I got to see places I wouldn't have discovered otherwise and explore Auckland's green spaces. Sean was an excellent guide and everything was well organized. Highly recommend :)

What a wonderful tour! We visited four beautiful parks and had incredible views of the city. The stop at Arylies Gardens and Wetlands alone was worth the price. Sean is an outstanding guide and his knowledge of the local history and culture is first rate!
