Kaptajnen vil byde dig velkommen om bord og tage dig gennem en kort introduktion af krydstogtet ledsaget af en sikkerhedsbriefing. Ved afgang kører yachten gennem Aucklands Viaduct Harbour, hvor besætningen serverer gratis te, kaffe, varm chokolade og en småkage, mens de lytter til en informativ kommentar om Viaduktens historie. Når du har nydt te, sætter besætningen sejlene til at sejle i Aucklands smukke Waitemata-havn, hvor de ser seværdigheder som Auckland Bridge, Westhaven Marina og Devonport (Aucklands ældste forstad) sammen med en flot udsigt over byen. We were searching for a sunset dinner cruise, but most reviews suggested opting for a sailing cruise and dining at a restaurant. Since the food on dinner cruises is not particularly impressive, we decided to take this sailing tour. It turned out to be a delightful and memorable experience during our vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all the sailboats in the bay. The crew was fantastic, providing us with refreshing drinks and delicious cookies. Afterward, we headed to a fantastic restaurant located right at the harbor for a satisfying meal.
We had a great time with Pippa, Alec and Olivia. The crew was quite friendly and the sailing was top notch. It was a windy day and the boat keeled over and glided effortlessly through the harbour. I would not hesitate to recommend. A true sailing adventure!
I wanted to take my family sailing because it seems like such a part of the NZ, especially Auckland, lifestyle. I understood they would be teaching us some about sailing and generally explaining the role of sailing in Kiwi culture. The staff were very uninterested and only talked when we asked questions. The sailing experience was not interactive, except for him letting us take the wheel for a couple of minutes. I would not recommend this experience. Also, if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic experience, this isn’t the thing either. Just pass.
Wonderful crew and we all had a turn at steering the yacht 😊 Weather was perfect too. Recommend to everyone!
The harbor sail was great for us ex-sailors. We sailed for 30 years and sold our boat a few years ago. the harbor sail was great with a reefed main sailing at hull speed. Fred and crew did a great job with us and the other 15 guests even though some had never sailed. Highly recommended.
This was a pleasant afternoon sailing on the water. We enjoyed great views of the Auckland skyline from another perspective. The crew was great. Our only disappointment was a bit of crowding on the rather small vessel.
If you have not been on a sailboat, this is a must do experience. The staff were friendly and tentative, informative and helpful. We went around the harbor under Auckland bridge and back. We’ve been many harbor cruises, this one is very unique on a sailboat. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
The skippers were very accommodating and hospitable. I was able to enjoy sailing even for someone who hasn’t done it before.

Relaxing sail on the harbor!!! Captain was VERY INFORMATIVE, had a wonderful disposition, and we appreciated his hard-working/charming first mate. Learned about racing, history of area, the Harbor bridge construction, and fundamentals of sailing. My husband took the helm for a short time!
