ATV tour was amazing! We did a 2 hour excursion and it was the perfect amount of time. Rigo set up pickup from the cruise port to the ATVs and back. The guide was great. Since it was our first time riding them they did a practice lap with us first. We even got to stop and try some chocolate and coffee along the way! At the end we bought the video and pictures offered by Rigo because they were affordable and great quality! If u ever come back to the DR will definitely do another excursion.

We had the perfect day in the Dominican Republic. Rigo was waiting for us when we got off the ship, right inside the port. It was so easy. He was great and our driver was amazing. The four wheeler excursion was so much fun. We will definitely book with Rigo next time we are in the Dominican. Thank you Rigo for a perfect day.

I was completely impressed with everything about the ATV excursion!! The customer service was top notch and everyone was so personable and helpful. From the ship,the excursion and back to the ship- the tour was exciting,fun, and I was able to see parts of the area that I would not normally see. I would recommend this company and all their tours to anyone!! The price was so reasonable for all the adventures we had!! The vans were new and very comfortable! Thank you all, and I hope to see you for another excursion when I go back!

Rigo’s tours are truly the absolute best! This was my third time touring with him in the past year, and each experience has been better than the last. My family and I always have an amazing time thanks to his variety of tour options and exceptional service. We booked an excursion with Rigo for a day at the Amber Cove port, while we were on a Carnival cruise. Rigo was very communicative up until the day we arrived in Port. Rigo picked us up in a private van, which was very nice and quite comfortable. We had an amazing day! We started at the rum factory (fun times with lots of tastings to get the day started right), and then did a city tour through the Puerto Plata neighborhoods, and enjoyed the scenery. The next stop was the cigar factory, a jewelry store, pink street, umbrella street, a chocolate factory, a souvenir store, and then we stopped for lunch, which was tasty. We rounded out our day with a ride on ATVs. It was a full day!! Rigo was friendly, considerate, knowledgeable and you can tell he is well/liked in the community. Rigo is family now. Believe me, the next time I touch down in the DR, I will be contacting Rigo. The tour was informative, enjoyable and a great day for myself and my family. Rigo got us back to the port with plenty of time to spare. The amount of activities we were able to do that day, was worth the money. And, to top it off, Rigo takes great photos! We were on Umbrella street and Rigo made this cute video of us. Another tourist asked him if he could do a video of her. I was like “ma’am get your own private tour guide. Rigo is taken!” She was probably on one of those tour buses being herded around with 50 other people. Too bad for her. 😂 Don’t hesitate….book Rigo and Pop Dominican Tours today!!!

Rigo actually customized excursions for our entire cruise family (20+). My group did a Damajagua waterfalls and jungle ATV tour and it was an incredible experience. We arrived on Carnival Celebration in Amber Cove. They picked us up right outside the port (pink tall building) in the morning. We had a short port time but even with the short time frame, we did both the waterfalls and the ATVs and we had time for a very quick bite to eat at a local seafood spot. During the waterfalls, there was a good 30 minute hike and made our way down via waterfalls slides and jumps! There were a few ladders for those who are afraid. Afterward, we jumped in the taxi which zipped us off to the ATVs which are much closer to the ship port. We did about an hour AtV tour through the jungle, which also brought us to a spot to buy souvenirs and taste local chocolate and DRs famous Mamajuana. Lastly, we stopped at the local restaurant to eat right before boarding the ship. Making it back right in time for a 3:30 pm port call. Thank you Rico and family!!!

Guys were fun nice scenery would go back. Short trip due to time. Close to amber cove who every is on a cruise.

You will need water socks and a bandanna. We had to buy both of these for $36. The ride was ok. After 1 hour we stopped at a gift shop in the middle of no where. It was an obvious way to add to the cost of this. I am at fault for the next part as I flipped my vehicle. Looks like a couple of cracked ribs in the process. The guys leading were very helpful. There was no incident report filed. I am following up with my dr tomorrow

When I booked my excursion, I clearly indicated my pickup location as the Taino Bay cruise port. Less than 24 hrs before my excursion, I received an email confirmation with the pickup location listed as Amber Cove and the excursion time from 9am-12pm and my cruise wasn’t even scheduled to arrive until 10am! I immediately contacted the tour operator via chat to inform them that my pickup time and location was incorrect. I waited about 4 hrs and I never received a response so I then reached out to Viator customer service 3 times (which was absolutely horrible by the way) and Viator still never resolved my issue! The first representative Elisa told me that since the excursion began less than 24 hrs before the excursion time, if I made any changes or cancel, I would not receive a refund! I wasn’t asking to cancel and that’s not my fault that the wrong cruise port and time was listed so why should I be penalized for a mistake that the tour operator made? She obviously didn’t comprehend what I was saying so after explaining myself to her all over again she finally offered to contact the tour operator on my behalf, but instead she left me waiting on the chat for over 30 minutes before I got transferred to another representative (no name was given) which I had to explain my situation all over again and all he/she did was offer an apology! The third time I contacted Viator customer service, nobody ever responded so I had to really search to find a contact number for the tour company. I ultimately did get in touch with Rigo which he was super nice and made sure I was picked up from the correct port. The excursion itself was ok but this entire ordeal leading up to my pickup put a bad taste in my mouth and I didn’t even want to do the tour at that point. A word of advice to the tour company - you ask during the booking process for a pickup location so pay better attention to the guest pickup location request. If it’s not feasible to pick up at the requested location, then don’t wait until the last minute to send out a confirmation to give the guest time to make changes. I definitely will never use Viator ever again to book my excursions.
