Rejseplan

Awesome!! This trip had to be done for the price I’d have paid a lot lot more for this fantastic day out with great guide and driver.. so freindly!!
Mandatory route for travel from Marrakech to Ouarzazate Along the way you will encounter numerous villages and cross various towns. The landscape is constantly changing. Arriving at an altitude of about 2260 meters it is not difficult to find snow until spring. Currently the stretch between Marrakesh and the pass is being renovated to make it less tortuous and wider and therefore you will encounter numerous construction sites and travel times are getting longer. Unfortunately, the new road, although faster and safer, will make the route less scenic.

We were informed by e-mail about the meeting point about 20h before departure, which was - as our riad was not reachable by car - about 5 minutes away. There we were picked up on time. After we had also collected the other participants (8 people in total), we went camel riding. This was completely touristy, but it was still a funny 20 minutes with some nice photos. Afterwards we went with one/two photo stops and after the visit to the Arganöl cooperative we continued to Imlil, where we could buy water before the start of the hike. The hike itself was scenic, not strenuous and max. 1h to a waterfall (with many stops where the guide told something). Afterwards we walked to another village for late lunch, very good taste but despite good entertainment at the table a bit lengthy. Our guide was very nice and effortful, told a lot but was not always

The pickup was on time. The driver as well as the guide were very nice and accommodating. The driver's English was excellent. Very nice hike in top weather conditions which is easy to tackle. On the way back we visited the weekly market in Asni, which happened to take place on the day of our tour. A great day I can only recommend!

Amazing experience with Mustapha! A great guy and extremely knowledgeable, he really made the entire experience special and unique. Hiking through the Berber village and exploring the community was fantastic with absolutely beautiful scenery. Our favorite part was having lunch at his house where his mother and sister in law cooked a wonderful and delicious tagine and cous cous meal, followed by some of the sweetest cherries and watermelon we have had! Highly recommend!!

Leave the noisy, full & fast Marrakech behind, breathe, marvel, rest. This is what a trip to the Atlas Mountains feels like. Already in the early morning a guide picks up the small rice group from the Djeema El Fna in the middle of the medina & you drive around 90 minutes by car to the destination. In between there are always photo stops. The hikes usually start in Imlil, a small mountain village in the centre of the High Atlas. At an altitude of about 1700 meters our super great guide picked us up. The landscape on the hike is constantly changing. While the valley goes over hills and rocks, the trail takes guests past waterfalls, streams & to Berber villages. At an altitude of 2500 meters, the vast valley stretches in front of the hikers, in the red color typical of Morocco, surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The often snow-covered peaks of the 4000-metre-high mountains rise majestically. Only the camel ride is really superfluous and pure touri stitch.
