Whenever I travel with my students for our competitions we plan an escape room as an activity so I have been to many in a lot of different states. The Asylum was a decent experience. The clues were pretty challenging Employees seemed super friendly too! Some cons about the room that I hope the owners take for constructive criticism…. The place is a bit run down. Bathroom a bit yucky, the clues were worn and torn, some clues didn’t really help in progressing to the next one, in some of the puzzles you knew the answer before solving because people have touched it so many times, even the signs you hold at the end are worn. Definitely needs a little TLC. The employees also communicate with you through walkie talkie and they are very hard to hear, need to get better audio. They also would say things when we didn’t ask for hints (which for us wasn’t a bad thing! lol), the room was so dark that 3 flashlights just isn’t enough if you have more than 3 people. If you didn’t have a light and people were spread out it was too dark to contribute.
The America's Escape Game is my favorite place to go for escape rooms. I've done 5 of them, and this time we did Murdering Heights (the drop down above is only giving me Asylum as an option, but it was MH that we did). It was my son's 12th birthday. He and his friends had a blast! They couldn't stop talking about how much fun (and scary) it was. They can't wait to come back and do another one. Thank you to all the staff for making my son's special day so memorable! YOU ROCK!!
If you are a beginner start with an easier one. We had a lot of laughs. Staff was amazing and had patience with us and helpful. We are going back next year to try another.
My teenage son (who’s soooo cool and very nonchalant lol), his dad and I went and had sooooo much fun! Very entertaining, thought provoking and scary. This was our first escape room experience and we loved it!! Even my son who’s soooo cool was engaged lol. We didnt solve it but we had so much fun. 10/10 would recommend!
Employees were great, minus John..he gave me a heart attack. A good time, but will humble you. 10/10. Minus John, I’m still mad at you John. (He was great at his job, just scared me.
We had a great time room was challenging but fun and a little scary! We will definitely be going back to try the other rooms.
First time here,It was so much fun, we were too relaxing first and should have asked more clues…even though we didn’t finish but definitely come back play again.
I had fun, it was a Joy able experience. I was nervous, scary. I did not know what to expect. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was so much fun, the workers were helpful as needed but overall the mystery was doable & a decent level of difficulty
The asylum room was a great experience. It was so fun! The staff were great at giving us hints if needed. 10/10 recommend!
