Philae er en ø i reservoiret i Aswan Low Dam nedstrøms for Aswan Dam og Lake Nasser, Egypten. Philae var oprindeligt beliggende nær den ekspansive første katarakt af Nilen i Øvre Egypten og var stedet for et egyptisk tempelkompleks. Aswan-dæmningen, eller mere specifikt siden 1960'erne, Aswan High Dam, er en dæmningsdam, der blev bygget over Nilen i Aswan, Egypten, mellem 1960 og 1970. Dets betydning formørkede stort set den forrige Aswan Low Dam, der oprindeligt blev afsluttet i 1902 nedstrøms.

Had an unforgettable day touring Aswan, starting with the grand High Dam and the mesmerizing Philae Temple. Our guide, Rucky, was knowledgeable and truly passionate, bringing history to life. We wrapped up at a unique perfume essence shop in the city. Highly recommend, especially with Rucky as the guide!

We actually spent 6 days with Rucky. My sisters and I were in Luxor and Aswan. The experience was incredible. Rucky really goes out of his way to make sure you see all of the sites that you think of when you imagine Egypt. He goes out of his way to make sure he takes you on the tours when there are not too many people around and you can see the sites without too many people. Seeing the Nubian Village via boat across the Nile was incredible. We were able to stop and put our feet in the Nile! We also spent time learning about spices and oils. The places that Rucky takes you too are more expensive than on the street but the quality is worth it and they teach you how it is done. We loved our drive Yassir as well. It was an amazing experience. I wouldn't book with anyone else!!!
I love my work very much so I give it all of my efforts to make tourists happy, learn them every thing, help them to visit the most beautiful places, and show them the beauty of Egypt, you are welcome and it's nice to meet you I hope see you again.
