Nyd en magisk aften i Atacama-ørkenen, kun 15 minutter fra San Pedro, hvor lysforurening er ikke-eksisterende, og stilheden hersker. Under Mælkevejens vidtstrakte vidder begynder aftenen med en snak om himlen og dens vidundere. En professionel fotograf vil forevige dit øjeblik med et panoramabillede i høj opløsning. Observer 8 til 10 himmellegemer gennem topmoderne teleskoper, inklusive galakser og tåger, med detaljerede forklaringer fra en ekspertguide. Til sidst kan du slappe af med en snack og en vincocktail, mens du kigger på stjernehimlen.

Afhentningssteder og tider
Vi venter på kunder på bureauet (Caracoles 238B) til nattens første vagt. Tjek tidsplanen ved booking, da tidsplanerne ændrer sig med sæsonen. Astronomituren er meget afhængig af vejret, og vi kan være nødt til at udsætte turen for at kunne få bedre vejrforhold. Forsinkelsen er en del af protokollen, og du kan ikke anmode om refusion på grund af forsinkelsen. Vi henter passagerer på deres respektive hoteller til nattens anden vagt. Chaufføren deler sin realtidsplacering i en WhatsApp-gruppe og underretter passagererne i afhentningsgruppen. Passagerer skal bruge WhatsApp og holde øje med deres mobiltelefoner for at deltage i afhentningsgruppen.

Hands down the best part of Atacama. All the little details to make a comfortable and amazing experience on a cold Atacama night. The stars were amazing and the photoshoot was such a great bonus.

It is something sensational! The desert has a wonderful sky. What happened is that on the night we were supposed to do the tour, the sky did not have good visibility, but the agency promptly notified us and offered a new date.

We also did the astronomical tour with Horizonte Atacama and, although the organization was good, on this occasion the experience did not meet our expectations. We understand that there was a full moon and that this limits sky observation, but we would have liked them to explain that to us from the beginning or to adapt the activity a little more. We hoped to be able to observe not only stars, galaxies, and the Moon, but also some planets, especially considering the fame that the Atacama desert sky has for being one of the best in the world for astronomical observation. Furthermore, we felt that the tour was very fast and that everything happened with too much haste. In the end, while we were barely enjoying the included dinner, the staff was already packing everything up to end the activity, which gave us the feeling that we had to leave as soon as possible. Compared to the other tours we did with Horizonte Atacama, this was the only one that left us a little disappointed. Unfortunately, it was not an experience that my children and I would recommend.

The horizon tourism is a great agency, super attentive and everything is easily resolved by whatsapp (neither were we at the agency). We left with all the tours already closed from Brazil and we did not regret it! Even I was able to change a ride because the road was closed in the day! The driver are excellent and the food wonderful! The only suggestion would be to put fewer people in the Van ( suddenly charging a little more expensive to be able to operate this way) since on one of the tours my husband was all squeezed and the routes are all long and uncomfortable! The backbands are very uncomfortable (but there are people who don't connect or only find out later). So if you care about comfort and be the last hotel to get caught on the journey you run the risk of getting in the worst place in the van! Another positive thing is that they make groups of each tour and share the guide’s location and arrival order in the hotels (which avoids long waits from other travellers. I created a very high expectation for the astronomical tour and was a little frustrated! It's really cold! The only thing I didn't like about this tour was the photographer, since as she took the photo and checked if I moved or flashed, I found few shots per person (2 poses only). I recommend looking at the lens and not the sky! The ones we looked up were horrible kkk but because of the cold it is quite uncomfortable to wait for people in the group to take their photos (even two per person is already enough to take a while). As for the telescopes is explanations are excellent! I've seen beautiful things I'll never forget!
