Basilica of Saint Clare er en kirke dedikeret til og indeholder rester af Saint Clare of Assisi, en tilhænger af Saint Francis of Assisi og grundlægger af de fattige dommers orden, der i dag er kendt som Saint Clares Ordre.
Opført i 1615 på resterne af en bygning menes at være hjemsted for St. Francis. Bygningens arkitekturdesign er fra renæssancen. Facaden, der er bygget af mursten, er opdelt af fire søjler, der støtter en dorisk entablatur, med loftsgabel, over hvilken der stiger en halvkugleformet kuppel.
Beliggende på det sted, hvor det gamle Forum Romanum stod, domineret af den imponerende Rocca Maggiore, begynder den rektangulære plads for enden af Corso Mazzini, som forbinder den med basilikaen Santa Chiara. Minervas tempel er en gammel romerske bygning. Det huser i øjeblikket en kirke, Santa Maria sopra Minerva, bygget i 1539 og renoveret i barok stil i det 17. århundrede.
