I loved everything about it from the beginning of our tour to the end, it was a quick and smooth pickup from our hotel with our chef. Naima was an amazing host for our food market tour and cooking class, we made all dishes mentioned as a local cuisine of Tanzania. The experience began with local best instructor Zen was fascinating, she explained to us all local produce, from spice, ingredients and she letting us smell, taste and learn how everyday they use together. After the market tour we went to prepare the meal. Zen is such a warm, knowledgeable and patient teacher. She guides us step by step through traditional cooking techniques. What a wonderful experience from beginning to end! We went on a tour of a local market and it was fascinating. We couldn’t believe how big the market was! The people we met there were engaging and so friendly. Then we were off to another market where the food for our meal was purchased. During our cooking experience we learned a lot about Tanzanian culture. The meal we prepared was spectacular! Be sure to come hungry! This experience was a highlight of our trip! We were picked up at 9:30 and back to our hotel by 3:30.

We had the best experience in Arusha, we did a fantastic walking tour in the food market, the market was very crowded, colorful and fresh of vegetables and fruits, we had the best time in the market with our guide. The second best park was in the kitchen, we cooked all local dishes and our guide was the best. Thanks so much for the entire team of the driver, chef and guide. I definitely recommend this trip.

Brilliant, friendly and well local experience. We experience the best, I can rate one of the top local experiences in Tanzania. Because I've been to the market before we skipped the tour and went direct to another street market, we were shopping for much ingredients and then direct to the kitchen, our chef and instructor are very humble, patient and very experienced. If you want to experience real Arusha, you have to book this tour, We started with a short walk and toured through the bustling local food market, Our guide not only showed us the market but told us more about Tanzania food, taste the fresh local fruits, navigate the vibrant and pick out fresh ingredients. The cooking class was absolutely highlights. It didn't feel rigid, formal class- it felt like being welcomed into a local kitchen to cook with close friends. We laughed, shared stories and learned how to make authentic dishes from scratch. After the entire experience of the market toured and cooking session we finally ate together at one table and also taught us the local way of eating their cuisine, the food was absolutely delicious but the warmth and hospitality of the team made it an unforgettable experience in Tanzania.
