Materuni Village ligger 15 km nord for Moshi, det er den sidste landsby før Kilimanjaro National Park, omkring 95 km fra Africa Safari Arusha. Før du når landsbyen, kører du langsomt forbi bananfarme og lokale landsbyer. Folk er meget varme og imødekommende og inviterer dig til deres lokale Materuni-hjem. En engelsktalende guide vil tage dig en tur rundt i landsbyen. Efter en kort briefing vil han guide dig på en 40-minutters vandretur til vandfaldene. Dette magiske grønne miljø med tropiske træer vil føre til det imponerende 80 meter høje vandfald. Her kan du tage dig tid til at slappe af og svømme, så tag gerne badetøjet med.

Du vil komme til at tage på en kaffetur og lære og se, hvordan den lokale Kilimanjaro-kaffe forarbejdes. Ikke kun det, men til sidst vil du få en chance for endda at prøve den lækre kaffe.
Det vil tage omkring halvanden time at køre fra Arusha til hvor du vil begynde vandreturen og den samme tid at køre derefter tilbage til Arusha. Under din køretur vil du se, når du bevæger dig fra den lille, men travle by Arusha til det smukke grønne område, du kommer forbi.

This day spent alongside Donny went wonderfully from start to finish. A person who is attentive and whole-hearted. We began with the Materuni waterfalls, a magical experience guided by Herment. He exceeded expectations in terms of explanations about the wildlife and flora of these fabulous places (Materuni waterfalls & Materuni village) and also provided us with a magical moment during the coffee-making process and its instant tasting. The meal that followed was a feast. The day continued alongside Donny, who transformed this already magical day into an unforgettable one, etched in our memories forever. Available to answer all our questions throughout the day. More than just a driver-guide, Donny is a trustworthy man we can rely on. No questions to ask if you wish to spend a day rich in emotions; you are in the right place with the right person. Wonderful experience.

What A DAY ! With our driver/day guide Donny. The tour was an amazing life experience. From materuni waterfalls, to coffee farm processing our own coffee from the tree right to the cup while singing. Big Thanks to Herment, the hiking and coffee guide during the whole Materuni experience. Brings us great knowledge. Then whe finished the day with the wonderful Chemka hot Spring. Plus, Donny was an amazing guide. A beautiful person, with a good heart and consciousness. I really thank him, for safety, driving, talking. Stylish and so handsome 😏. 5 stars

I booked a solo day trip to materuni waterfall + the coffee tour and hot spring. It was a very long day, started out at 7 am and got back around 7:30 pm but overall very worth the experience. Especially the Chemca Hot Springs (when we arrived there was literally no on there) My guide/driver was Donath Mosha today, so thanks again for taking me all the way!

A very well spent day with the best guides and driver, i was solo on a full day tour to chemka hotspring, materuni waterfall, coffee tour with launch and a yummy local coffee, and a city sightseeing in arusha. Great company!

Jumanne Rajabu was a great guide! He had a lot of conversations and he also showed me how the people were actually living here by taking me to the market and showing me how people were negotiating. Plus the activities were all incredible, the hot spring was a great way to start the day, the coffee tour was really cool and the waterfall was beautiful! I highly recommend this activity to anyone who’s coming in this region of Tanzania
