Rejseplan

Great tour, get so much more out of the museum with a guide. The museum was in a beautiful building, well laid out.
Thanks!
Pierluigi is perfect! The best private guide ever: there are guides that are deep experts and guides that are very likeable and fluent in their presentation; but seldom does one find all those qualities merged into one.
Much appreciated, thanks and see you next time!
The museum itself is a MUST when visiting Naples. The best pieces from Herculanum and Pompeii are in the archeological museum ! I should also stress that Enrica (our guide) is truly excellent. She is not only very knowledgeable, but she is full of enthusiasm for her city's (Naples) history.
Thank you so much, we really appreciate this words!
Riccardo was the best guide, he was very know on everything and I learned so much. I don’t know if I could ever go to a museum again without a guide to explain everything to me.
Thank you, your feedback is very important and much appreciated
Olivio was a fantastic guide through this museum. His training as an archaeologist gave us even more insight into everything within this museum
Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoyed the experience!
Raffaele Romano is the most amazing guide I have ever encountered. Our group was lucky to have him for 2 days and for different tours in Naples, Italy. . He showed an in-depth, impressive understanding of all subject matters, he is highly educated in all subjects and has top-notch communication skills, and his humor is unparalleled. He is very personable and possesses a great sense of punctuality and impeccable time management. I highly recommend Raffaele Romano and his tour company. Working and delegating our wishes with his colleagues was a real pleasure and planning our trip was facilitated by their impressive knowledge of the area. Will definitely return to explore Italy with Raffaele and Naples Grand Tour.
Olivio was a knowledgeable and friendly guide and answered all my questions with animation and patience. I can’t begin to say how memorable this tour was.
This words are for us a joy, we invest time, energy and passion in what we do: THANK YOU
We spent 2 hours with Raffaele this morning in the Archeological Museum of Naples and at our request focusing mainly on the Vesuvian artefacts from Pompei and Herculaneum. He has a very good command of the English language and a great depth of knowledge. He communicates it in a very clear and interesting way. His enthusiasm for his subject is infectious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him in the museum. He is a really nice guy and will be back for another tour next year as he has shown us how much more there is to see (with a guide) and understanding the back story which is not obvious.
It was fascinating to hear and see some of the history of Pompeii and Herculaneum brought to life by Teresa, our guide. She made the time fly by with her wonderful knowledge and story-telling. And we very much appreciated her tips for lunch spots afterwards, along with some special things to find in Napoli.
Museum essential if you visit Naples, which perfectly complements visits to Pompeii, Erculaneum, Oplontis... It contains the collection of Roman sculpture of the Farnese family, notably the Farnese bull. There are the vast majority of frescoes, mosaics and sculptures from Pompeii. When we went the Alexander and Darius mosaic was under restoration and we could not see it (Sept 2021). It’s very worth it because the whole collection is spectacular, and it helps you piece together a little bit like the sites should be.
