It was nice hearing from a former wrestler’s perspective and being guided through a not so great neighborhood to the show.

Ciela was the perfect guide for an absolutely amazing night. She was open, attentive, knowledgable, and very very funny. Chela (our host) is a luchador herself, she is super passionate about lucha libre & will give you an incredible historical & culture introduction. You get to meet a professional quality wrestler who Chela brings & then ask questions, take photos. They are super friendly! Then they will walk you to the venue where it is super crowded and the environment is crazy. Chela and her assistant guided us through a venue for 16,000 people, police barricades and a crazy street market to our balcony seats professionally. The experience was a wonderful cultural introduction to the Lucha Libre world that is a must if you are in CDMX and don’t have a local person to take you there.

We had an amazing night on this tour with our group. We loved getting the first hand behind the scenes stories before and during the matches and even got to meet some of the wrestlers after. I had been to a lucha libre before but this was an even better way to experience it! Highly recommend.

What an outstanding experience. Do not miss out on this opportunity! Chela was an absolute delight. If we had gone to Lucha Libre alone it would have been interesting, but we wouldn't have understood everything that was happening, the history behind it, the ins and outs, the deep love the luchadors have for their sport. Chela made everything so easy. We had a lovely experience before learning about Lucha Libre, her passion was infectious. We had a great little walk to the stadium and quickly zipped past crowds inside. We didn't have to stumble around looking for our seats, she brought us drinks so we didn't have to miss anything going to consessions. Everything was super thoughtful. We felt safe and happy the whole time and really felt connected to the whole experience. Do not miss out on this tour!
