Aran Islands Bike Tour med te & Scones - Dagstur til Inisheer fra Doolin

Shaun was an awesome tour guide and awesome to have for the 2 of us that booked the bike ride. Unfortunately, for the 2 that booked the horse and carriage, this was not available when we arrived, despite booking several weeks in advance and also messaging the company a few days before to confirm this. Our tour guide had to call the company to arrange for a different time of the tour after we already arrived on the island. If the horse and carriage tour proceeded as planned, these 2 people in our party would have had 1 hour, after their tour, to have lunch at the pub. Instead, they only had 45 min of free time before they had to meet for their tour and this 45 min was too early in the day to have lunch. Unfortunately they had to wait outside, in full sun, which is a lot for a couple in their late 70s/almost 80 years old. It would be good if a refund was issued.

Great experience! Sean was a great tour guide and kept us entertained with stories of the island. We were happy to be able to have a combo of e-bikes and regular ones. The ride isn’t terribly strenuous, but the option was great for the members of our group that were less physically fit. The scones were a wonderful way to wrap up the tour. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great outdoor experience.

Sean was an absolute gem. He is so organized, enthusiastic, charismatic and hilarious. We learned a ton and had so much fun. We had the best day on the island Sean and Freya helped me organize a 25th wedding anniversary renewal and surprised my husband. Sean was like a paid actor distracting my husband while we got things arranged. He was brilliant Everything was perfect.

Cearbhuil was an amazing guide! We had such a wonderful time and saw amazing sites! Cearbhuil shared so many amazing stories about the island and the islanders! We would highly recommend the tour!

Our family had the most wonderful experience touring around Inis Oirr with our incredible guide, Cearbhuil. From the moment we met her, she made us feel like we were spending the day with an old friend rather than taking a guided tour. She was personable, funny, knowledgeable, and so engaging that every stop along the way became memorable. What made this experience truly special was how she brought Ireland to life. She shared fascinating history and local stories, taught us bits of the traditional Irish language, and gave us a deeper appreciation not only for the island we were exploring but for Ireland as a whole. Her passion for her country was contagious, and it made every conversation even more meaningful. She was also absolutely fantastic with our three kids (ages 8, 11, 13). She kept them involved with fun conversations, jokes, and little moments throughout the day, making sure they felt just as much a part of the experience as the adults. It never felt like she was following a script; she genuinely connected with all of us, adapting the day to our interests and making everyone feel included. Along the way, we shared stories about our families, laughed constantly, and created memories that we'll treasure for years to come. By the end of the tour, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. This wasn't just a sightseeing tour; it was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland, and it's an experience we'll never forget. An amazing tour! Ollie shared so many interesting facts about the island, and exploring it by bike made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The admission fee was absolutely worth it, especially considering everything that was included. The length of the trip was just right—not too short and not too long—giving us plenty of time to explore and enjoy the island at a relaxed pace. To top it all off, we were treated to a lovely sweet surprise at the end. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover another beautiful part of Ireland!

Our guide was Deirdre and we had a fabulous time with her. The tour itself is outstanding with the boat ride to the small island and the E bikes are a great way to travel around and see the various sites. Tea and scones at the end is delightful and I love that it was family owned. Deirdre made our experience exceptionally well. She’s local and being from the area had a lot of local knowledge and a lot of respect for the Irish heritage. It was the highlight of our trip.

My four children and I fully enjoyed our adventure to Inisheer for a half horse-and-buggy ride and half hike up to the castle today! I'm glad horse-and-buggy was an alternative, as i didn't think my youngrst could handle biking hills. Our guide was Cearbhuil - she was informative about both island life and the mainland, and very interesting to talk to. She looked after all of us very well, from my youngest to oldest (7-18 years) and myself from the moment we met at the ferry in Doolin. Seeing the island by horse-drawn buggy first was a great introduction, then getting a chance to hike up to the graveyard and castle and learn more of the history along the way was a nice change of pace. Finishing with hot chocolate and scones before heading back and getting a chance to chat with a local-from-birth was an extra treat. Thank you for the adventure, Ollie's Tours!

Our private bike tour with Murph was a highlight on our vacation for our family of four (kids age 12 & 14). Ollie’s made the ferry trip, bike rental, and visit to Cafe Una seamless and worry free, and we learned loads of interesting history and anecdotes as we biked around the island. The ride included hills but Murph made it feel accessible and relaxed. He incorporated sage info about the area, including the other islands, Cliffs of Moher, as well as the flora and fauna. Murph was an absolute gem of a guide and I highly recommend this tour!
