Rejseplan
Skatkammeret blev gjort berømt i filmen Indiana Jones & the last crusade.

This was supposed to be a private tour but we were uncomfortably joined by another couple causing a seating problem. Our driver spoke a VERY limited English and tried to get another $60 dollars to take us to wadi run on the way back. The full day tour was 7 hours. The time at Petra was very rushed. The buffet lunch was excellent but the ladies room was dirty
Early and fast driver picked us up at the port and we went to Petra and were able to get a golf cart before the crowds came and toured with a very knowledgeable and good guide who helped us take great pictures. We were able to get back to the ship for lunch.
Our driver Omar was so nice, personable, and thoughtful. Petra is so interesting but wow, lots of people. So happy we had a golf cart!!
Everything was smooth and on time. The driver had a wonderful car and made sure the next part was ready when we arrived at Petra.
A very well organised trip. Really friendly, helpful driver and a knowledgeable guide. Lunch was good too. Trip was expensive but a one off and well worth the extra cost to avoid the 30+ coaches. Highly recommend.
It was an amazing trip from beginning to end and Radwan had all the history of Petra at his fingertips. His knowledge was extraordinary, his descriptions made the past come alive. He went the extra mile to make sure we understood the importance of each nook of the formation. Having the golf cart enabled us to see everything top to bottom and I’m especially grateful.
My husband really really wanted to see Petra and he has some mobility challenges. Our driver picked us up at our ship and took us to meet our Petra guide. The guide was excellent, the golf cart worked well, we made it all the way to the arena and had plenty of time for photos. The cart took us back up the Siq for a wonderful lunch buffet at Movenpick. Our driver took us back to the ship. There was a rest stop about 1/2 way in each direction. This was worth the money for a once in a lifetime experience.
Petra was fantastic, A great way to see Petra in the golf cart. Guide in Petra was excellent. The only drawback was that our driver from port to Petra spoke virtually no english so we could not learn anything about Jordan.
The first impressions were that chaos reigned supreme! My wife and I were on shore at the appointed hour and there was no sign of our guide at all, after about half an hour we finally found someone with our name on a board, who indicated that we should wait in the sun (my wife has walking issues) and continued to shout very loudly for the next 10 minutes into his mobile phone. Having then gathered a small group of us, he led us across very uneven ground (most people were elderly 2, my wife included, with strollers) to a group of vehicles. The problem then became plain as another party were trying to commandeer one of the vehicles. Once this issue had been sorted, we were finally able to begin the tour almost an hour late. We had a private tour booked for the 2 of us, the vehicle however had seen much better days with over 200,000 kilometres on the clock and the inside was far from clean. However from here the tour did get better, with everything promised delivered. we arrived at Petra where we had booked a private golf cart tour which was a wonderful way to see everything for my wife. The guide was very good and explained everything well. The downside was the reluctance of the driver to stop on the way down to take photographs. lunch was good and included in the tour and the return trip was uneventful. The driver did offer to divert to Wadi Rum on the way back however due to time constraints we declined. Overall a good day out if you were able to get past the initial problems.

This was a definite highlight of our cruise tours. There were many people that wanted to get on our cart as we went thru Petra. We would not have been able to do the tour otherwise. Our driver to and from the ship was fantastic. Spoke very good English and as he was from Petra we got to see some of the town as well. Well worth the money.
