Alt udstyr leveres til din tur, inklusive redningsveste, pagajer og gennemsigtige oplyste kajakker. Du kan også medbringe din egen valgfrie drik (21+ og ingen styrofoam eller glasflasker). Our Paddle SMTX clear kayaking cruise was awesome! Starting out in daylight and finishing in the dark is super cool, and the lights on the kayaks are really pretty as you are paddling the river. We saw right next to our kayak a large beaver, a non-venomous river snake, fish and turtles, and we saw cool tall legged birds and raccoons on the river shore, and the view of the water, rocks and vegetation below you and around you is really neat. Too, Sommer, our tour guide, was excellent! She knows a lot of really cool information about the river, the animals in and near the river and other interesting facts, and for me, learning stuff made the tour even better. Great fun!!!
A friend told us about this nighttime glow kayaking tour and we wanted to give it a try. Yes, it costs more than a movie night, but it's so much more fun. It was pretty simple to schedule our tour online and meeting at the park made it easy. Our guide was Sommer...and she was fantastic! She was happy, energetic, and eager for us to have a great time on the river. As we paddled along, she kept an eye out for wildlife and would point them out using her light. There is something about the clear, slow flowing water and the glowing LED lights that is very relaxing. The tour lasted about an hour and a half and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Bring a towel to sit on in the car afterwards...your bottom will likely get wet!
Summer was amazing and made sure everyone was apart of the experience and a great photo taker.
