Malika was absolutely amazing and educated! This tour was everything I thought it would be and left me feeling spooky hahah. It was well paced and I was left learning something new at every stop. My only complaint was that it didn’t go all night lol

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS TOUR! Our guide was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience genuinely fun. The history behind the LaLaurie Mansion, the vampire community, the haunted stories of the French Quarter — all of it was fascinating and told in a way that kept us completely hooked. Malika was a wonderful guide, and the tour was historically informative, exciting, and fun--although the stories were rather gloomy. I think I understand the city more. I also enjoyed my fellow participants--very nice group of people. I did not feel uncomfortable at all although I participated by myself. I participated in other "Anansi's Daughters" tours, and they were both worthwhile.

Incredible and informative tour! Rhodesia was incredible, knowledgeable, and a beautiful light to guide us through some of the darker past that most have continued to white wash. Highly recommend!

This was not a ghost tour as advertised. This was a history lesson with almost no reference to ghosts. It was nothing like what I have experienced before. It was a complete waste of money
We hope you enjoyed your time in New Orleans nonetheless. Perhaps the haunted bar crawls are more up your alley, as opposed to in depth stories about the Spirits of the Free People of Color who still frequent the stops on our tour, the honoring of the Ancestors who were tortured and slaughtered, but who’s resilience forms the foundation of New Orleans culture, and the retelling of the history and legacy of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, the Spirit of another free woman of Color who attracts guests from all around the world to the Crescent City to this day.
My husband and I have traveled to New Orleans at least once a year for the last ten years. We usually do a ghost tour with whoever we are traveling with. This was our first time booking this tour and we were very impressed. We learned new history and absolutely loved our tour guide Rhodesia. She was such a light and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. When we go back, we plan to book this tour again.

I appreciated the stories of Black history in the city. I wanted more ghost stories tied to the location where we were. I think if this tour was named Black history after dark, I would think it would be more aligned. The tour title didn't quite fit a full on ghost tour to me and the people in my group. But I appreciated our guide and her care throughout the storytelling. Would still recommend, just know what it is and what it is not.
WOW-Rhodesia is informative and knowledgeable. I will recommend this tour to all my friends and family when they visit NOLA! Also, it is a black and women-owned business. Spend your money supporting them!

A great tour experience, Rhody was extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She is an amazing story teller who cares about the topics she covers. Some areas of the tour cover dark topics but Rhody handled them with respect and care. Would absolutely book again.
