A well thought out museum. Wonderful art work, of course. Perhaps the highlight of our trip. So glad we had the opportunity to see this collection.

Interesting and well...
Interesting and well organised museum. Great audio guide that allows you to move through the museum at your own pace. Very enjoyable.

Van Gogh masterpieces!
Easy check in. Progress through museum at own pace. Can be a bit crowded in some rooms, but patience will give you a front row view.

It is an amazing museum with a great collection Van Gogh’s works. Audio guide is great as well. If in Amsterdam - you have to pay a visit

Don't show up on an off day
Unfortunately a backhoe in a nearby Street cut through the power lines. This was not their fault in the whole neighborhood when dark. However, when ask if we could come back later, they said it just was not possible. They could not make any kind of compensation. This happened to me and to many other people. Today is we're getting ready to leave. They said we could come back later this week after having said absolutely not possible yesterday. We get this note this evening as we are preparing to leave Amsterdam for America. This is extremely bad business practice and my wife was most disappointed as this was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip.

We are truly sorry that the unexpected power outage affected your visit and caused such disappointment, especially as this was meant to be one of the highlights of your trip. Unfortunately, the outage was caused by accidental damage to power lines during nearby construction work and affected the entire surrounding area. This was completely outside our control, and at the time, there was no confirmed information regarding when power would be restored or whether visitors could return later. We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive updated information only when you were preparing to leave Amsterdam. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and disappointment this situation caused you and your wife. While circumstances like this are beyond our control, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve how unexpected disruptions and updates are communicated to our guests.

You should experience this museum
We didn’t know much about Vincent Van Gogh so we found this museum to be very informative. In fact , it was awesome. The audio worked very well.

Van Gogh awesome , Viator not so much
Amazing art as expected … there was no guided tour so you’re paying for museum entrance and Audio tour … check is you can get without Viator

Good option if tickets sell out!
I was unable to get tickets direct through the museum website so last minute so ended up paying more through Viator to go at the time and date I wanted. The seller was very responsive to my questions and emailed the tickets the night before! Everything went smoothly. Absolutely loved the museum!
