Very beautiful experience. I highly recommend this activity. It is perfect under the sun of this summer 2026. The team is top-notch, and the silent, non-polluting ELECTRIC boat made us choose this cruise. We are delighted.
When we booked, the picture showed a boat with a roof. In reality, there was no roof. The guide was very dynamic, friendly and willing to answer our questions. The tour started with a lot a very good info (buildings, history…) but the guide the started to talk about her own situation in Amsterdam.
Very nice atmosphere, interesting historical stories, there was more than 30 degrees but because of the nice atmosphere it does not matter
Nice tour of Amsterdam 1 hour long with two different circles. Great comments on Amsterdam history and houses
I would not recommend it at all. Half the people were creating a big ruckus there. It was crazy. Couldn’t hear the guides. They should have had some sort of speaker or something.
This was a negative experience for us. I booked this particular tour because of the pictures of the boat. Amsterdam can get cold so I wanted a covered boat. All the pics were of a long boat that was inclosed. Not the case at all. All pics in the ad were of a nice boat but it was open and not very comfortable. I accused them of false advertising but took the tour anyway since it was our last chance for a canal tour. No where in the ad did it indicate that the actual boat would be different.

On the day of your cruise, Amsterdam was enjoying beautiful summer weather with pleasant temperatures and a wonderful golden hour. For that reason, we decided to give your departure a complimentary upgrade from the covered sightseeing boat to our more expensive open boat experience. During the summer months, the open boats offer unobstructed views of Amsterdam's canals and are generally considered the most enjoyable way to experience the city. We are pleased to say that the other guests on your departure were very happy with this decision and thoroughly enjoyed the evening on the open boat. We are therefore sorry to hear that, despite receiving this complimentary upgrade, the experience did not meet your personal expectations. We will keep in mind that some guests may still prefer a covered boat regardless of the weather. We will review our product description to ensure it clearly states that this tour may be operated with either an open boat or a covered salon boat, depending on the circumstances, so future guests know exactly what to expect. Pleasant boat ride with knowledgable your guide. I will say the 540 time in July was not the best because of the height of the sun, probably better like an hour later or earlier.

This was alright but not very descriptive. We thought we were getting a covered boat but was on an open one. Guide was mediocre with knowledge of area.

Regarding the boat, your cruise took place on a beautiful summer evening with temperatures of around 27°C. On warm, sunny days like that, we often choose one of our open boats, as many guests specifically enjoy the fresh air and unobstructed views of Amsterdam's canals. We do, however, understand that you were expecting one of our traditional covered boats. We're also sorry to hear that you would have liked more information about Amsterdam during the cruise. We deliberately choose to offer live guided tours instead of pre-recorded audio guides, allowing our guides to interact with guests and tailor the commentary to the group.
