Wonderful food tour! Dave was friendly and knowledgeable about Portland and the downtown food scene! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves to eat!!!!
Absolutely the best food tour we have ever been on. David was a phenomenal guide who was not only very knowledgeable, his deep connection to the local community was evident with thoughtfully selected options. Each stop yielded fun facts and exceptional food with generous portions, so come hungry! Thank you for a wonderful tour David!
David was an excellent communicator - he was in touch prior to the tour a few times. He was punctual in meeting with us. But, best of all, he is a fantastic tour guide. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of life in Portland and the history. He also has a delightful manner which makes the tour fun despite the relatively long distance of walking!
Just book it! No better way to learn about a city than through its food and David did a fantastic job of showcasing Portland’s rich food and cart scene. We luckily took this tour at the beginning of our trip and essentially ate every meal afterwards at a new Portland food cart. David also helped us with suggestions and must have bites elsewhere around the city. The humour, sights, facts, history, and most importantly the food were all spot on. Thank you David!
Great tour from start to finish! David was entertaining, engaging and incredibly informative. He shared unique and interesting facts about Portland that I’ve never known and I’m fairly local. We saw beautiful art and some funky “interesting” art (iykyk)! And of course the food…amazing. From beginning to end, every place provided a little slice of what Portlands continuously growing food scene offers. I highly recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike.

Highly recommend! Our guide was informative and entertaining. Plenty of food and a diverse sampling representative of the Portland culture. We loved this tour and everything we tried.
Our tour guide, David showed us the diverse character of the Portland food scene. He was a wealth of knowledge about the city in general and how so many of the original food offerings came to be in specific. David had a great sense of humor and he continually made sure everyone was involved and happy with their selections. Two street food carts, a chocolste shop, a Thai restaurant, and Hawaiian shaved ice were among the places we visited and enjoyed.
David contacted us ahead of time for any food allergies or aversions so I was able to enjoy a dish without cilantro, which I appreciated. He was very knowledgeable about the area and kept everyone engaged. Food options were varied and delicious. Would definitely recommend this tour.
We have been on many food tours, and this one was easily one of the top 5! Great food, amazing guide (David), and so much interesting information. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and informative activity!
