At udforske de mest afsidesliggende og udfordrende gletsjere i Lago Argentino er muligt gennem sejlads, hvilket giver den unikke mulighed for at begive sig ud på en katamaran eller udforske fra balkonerne og dækket, ideel til at tage fantastiske billeder. Landingen ved Spegazzini-basen, et stykke land midt i Argentino-søen og gletsjerfeltet. Det giver dig mulighed for at gå ture med den mest spektakulære udsigt over nationalparken.

Efter at have hentet passagerer fra deres centralt beliggende hoteller fra kl. 7:00, rejser vi med komfortabel bus til havnen i Punta Bandera, som ligger 47 km fra El Calafate. For dem, der vælger muligheden uden transport, mødes vi ved Punta Bandera Havn kl. 8:30 for at begynde sejladsen.
Når alle passagerer er om bord, begynder krydstogtet på den nordlige arm af Argentino-søen kl. 9.00. Vi krydsede Djævelens Mund mod Upsalakanalen og sejlede mellem enorme isbjerge, der var brækket af fronten af Upsalagletsjeren. Når du sejler ind i Spegazzini-kanalen, kan du nyde en panoramaudsigt over forskellige gletsjere med mulighed for at tage billeder ved udpegede stop for at observere de imponerende isblokke.
Under turen vil passagerer have mulighed for at se flere af de mange gletsjere, der findes i Lago Argentino, herunder Seco-gletsjeren, Spegazzini-gletsjeren, South Heim-gletsjeren og Peineta-gletsjeren. Under navigation kan du beundre isblokkene fra forskellige vinkler, hvilket giver dig mulighed for at tage de bedste billeder.
Vi går fra borde ved La Base Spegazzini for at vandre gennem den 300 meter lange sti gennem skoven til Spegazzini Refuge. Det er tilgængeligt og repræsenterer ikke kompleksitet, da det er gjort på fast grund. Udstationering vil blive foretaget på forskellige stationer (Glaciologi - Historie - Fauna og Flora) med udsigtspunkter med udsigt over hele Glacierbugten. Når du først er i refugiet, kan du nyde gastronomien, butikken og en utrolig panoramaudsigt fra dets værelser og udefra (dæk og terrasse). En anden mulighed er at tage bjergstien, af middel sværhedsgrad gennem en skovklædt sti, med naturlige udsigtspunkter, fuld af utrolige udsigter, der ender ved landingsstedet.
Når vi er tilbage om bord, fortsætter vi den anden del af rejsen til Punta Bandera, hvor vi forventer at ankomme omkring kl. 16.00. Derefter er returrejsen til El Calafate planlagt til cirka kl. 17.00 for dem, der har valgt muligheden med transfer.

Great boat trip. We loved the Glaciers and the lunch venue. We booked on Vaitor and there was a big mess up somewhere between Viator and the tour company. We were told 830am pick up at our hotel. We received a call at 7:30 AM to ask why we were not ready for pick up. We caught a taxi to the jetty which cost us US$60. The tour company confirmed they would refund us and after requesting a refund, they denied the refund on the basis that there was a confusion over the ticket, even though we received two reminders to pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. My advice is that you take great care when confirming whether you are booking a transfer or no transfer and what your subsequent pick up time is.

However, we would like to clarify that the option purchased through Viator was the “No Transfers” option. With this option, passengers are required to make their own way to the designated meeting point, as hotel pick-up is not included in the service. We understand that your hotel information was included in the booking request, which may have contributed to the confusion. Nevertheless, adding the hotel details to the request does not change the selected service option or include a transfer in the booking. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the pick-up arrangements and appreciate your feedback. We were picked up by a combi from the hotel, very friendly. They took us several km to where we boarded a boat, a sublime experience, the front of the glacier is something indescribable for the extraordinary, the very good explanations, when you return they wait for you and leave you in the afternoon night at the hotel. Highly recommended. Don't stop doing it.

Boat trip where you can see the glaciers in the distance, but it is like seeing them on the walkways and it is free... I prefer the excursion where you will touch the glacier with the blue safari. Besides, I was queuing up to be stamped on migrations and he came after us a group with a guide, and they got ahead of us to board earlier and stay in the best places, a lack of respect... they treat you like cattle... besides you complain and justify themselves... they are a lot of scumbags.

Amazing tour! Beautiful navigation across the lake, passing by the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier. On the way we can see icebergs that have broken off and the images are surreal! Pay extra to stay on the top deck! It is worth it! The place where we stopped for lunch also has a wonderful view!
