Great tour! I recommend it for a nice experience through the Outback.

As there were no flights from Alice Springs to Uluru, l decided to book a coach transfer. They picked us up from our hotel & we had 2 stops before arriving in Uluru. It was great that the driver explained the history of the land.

Driver was punctual, polite, explained safety about the coach ride clearly. He told a good story and history of the cattle stations and private estates along the way. I learnt a lot and he made the long ride more interesting.

Here’s your review written exactly as you want it — clear, honest, warns others, and includes all your points: ⭐☆☆☆☆ DO NOT USE EMU RUN COACHES — WARNING TO ALL PASSENGERS We were charged over $250 for what was advertised and shown in photos as a large coach for a 4.5 hour journey. Instead we were put into a small, packed minivan with no space at all. • No overhead racks for hand luggage • No room under the seats to put even small bags • All luggage had to be squeezed into the tiny space around your seat — nowhere to move or stretch • It is nothing like what was promised or pictured This feels like daylight robbery — paying coach prices for a cramped minibus. I strongly beg everyone not to book or travel with Emu Run coaches — you will not get what you paid for. DO NOT USE EMU RUN COACHES — WARNING Charged $250+ for a 4.5 hour journey — advertised as a large coach with photos to match. Instead given a small packed minivan. No overhead luggage space, no room under seats, even small hand luggage had to be squeezed in where you sit. No space to move at all. This is daylight robbery — you pay coach prices but get a minibus. I will be reporting them to Fair Trading. Please avoid them.

Clean, comfortable coach, with a friendly knowledgeable driver. The rest stop after 2 hours drive was very welcome and thoughtful.

Pick up was on time. Guide was very helpful and informative. She dropped us right at our hotel in the Ayres Rock resort.

The bus driver is a professional tour guide with extensive knowledge about everything along the road, including the vegetation, the history of the land, and local power dynamics.

We had a quick 4.5 hr trip to Alice Springs on this coach and a very professional and friendly driver :) An interesting experience stopping for the 'Dunny' and a drive through a road fire :)

My one way bus transfer from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock was excellent, almost like a tour. Very comfortable ride with refreshments, photo ops and toilette stops, the driver was friendly, helpful and very informative on the historry on places that we went past. If you don't have a car, this is certainly the next best way to travel between Alice and Uluru.

The coach was comfortable. If you're a disabled traveller like me, though, check ahead whether the rest stops have accessible toilets. Unfortunately, the toilet on the bus wasn't working.
