Private guided tour in the Alhambra on June 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM Gema was my private guide from Trip Granada. She is an excellent guide; she told me the main history and anecdotes of the Alhambra and gave me tips to enjoy Granada more. Gema showed me the Generalife, the Nasrid palaces, and other important parts of the Alhambra. A place full of history and beautiful Arab architecture. The art of decoration with verses from the Quran on some of the walls of the Nasrid palaces is something beautiful, and the wonderful filigree of some arches and ceilings is remarkable. The gardens are very beautiful and inspire peace and tranquility, providing shelter from the heat. Gema also showed me where the Parador de la Alhambra was, where, after my guided visit, I sat in the café to eat with a wonderful view of the Generalife and its gardens. I am very grateful to Gema, who made me enjoy my visit to the Alhambra to the fullest. I 100% recommend Trip Granada for its professionalism and excellent official guides.

Our guide Gema explained the history of the Alhambra excellently. Without rushing and speaking simply and clearly for foreign friends. He explained the history in a very understandable and interesting way.

Paula was an awesome guide. She took her time to make sure we enjoyed every step along the way. She has an amazing knowledge of the history and architecture. She knew the best places for photos and insisted on taking pictures of us to have the memories of Alhambra. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paula!

Pablo was our guide to the Alhambra for my family of five, including three teenaged daughters. Pablo is the best!!! Pablo kept us all engaged (even the teenagers!) as he was able to tell the story of the Alhambra and the Granada area in a fascinating and interesting way. We could make sense of what we were seeing as he explained the significance of what we were experiencing. The history and detailed story telling of Pablo made all the difference in understanding and appreciating our visit to the Alhambra. Do not go without a guide… you’ll miss out on so much!

We loved our historian, Pablo, who gave us a private tour of Alhambra from 9a-11:30a. We started at Generalife and ended with Nazrid palace (because our tickets were at 10:30am) and loved that we did the tour in this order. The blend of Moorish, Roman, and Christian architecture and history is fascinating and beautiful (Mudéjar (Arabic: Mudajjan) referring to the coexistence of Islamic influences in a Christian setting. We had our 2 teenagers with us who also learned a lot and stayed highly engaged during the tour. Very Highly recommend this private tour!

It was amazing, it is unparalleled to take a guided tour alone than in a group. It was certainly one of the best experiences we had in terms of visits/monuments/etc. Those memories that weren't deleted anymore. Gema was in every detail and is passionate about Granada and Spain. Hopefully we'll come back someday...

Gema was very informative and accommodated our group of Spanish language learners by speaking slower than her natural speed (Spaniards speak very fast). She was happy to answer our questions and was very patient herding our group of 24 through the crowded Alhambra. She was a delight.
