Bygget på toppen af en klippe, Kapellet i Sra. Da Rocha giver dig mulighed for at beundre den smukke kyst og klippeformationer. På vej mod vest vil du blive præsenteret for landsbyen Ferragudo, en traditionel fiskerby, der har udsigt over Portimão-mundingen. Efter at have krydset Arade-floden gennem den gamle bro, vil du have mulighed for at betragte fra toppen af Fort of Santa Catarina udsigtspunktet, floden, flodens munding og den lange Praia da Rocha. Når du ankommer til den charmerende by Lagos, vil en valgfri en times bådtur forbløffe dig, da den tager vores turister til Ponta da Piedade-hulerne og klippeformationerne. En skal gøre oplevelse. Det historiske centrum bevarer stadig sit særpræg med brostensbelagte gader, autentiske restauranter og en atmosfære, der er afslappet og indbydende. På det storslåede forbjerg Senhora da Rocha ligger Senhora da Rochas kapel. Ifølge historiske kilder var kapellet omgivet af en gammel fæstning (1400-tallet), som dominerede hele kysten mellem Faro og Lagos, og beskyttede befolkningerne og kysten, men fæstningen blev ødelagt under jordskælvet i 1755.
Gå langs de brostensbelagte gader i denne maleriske landsby. Du vil have mulighed for at gå op til bakken til udsigtspunktet for hovedkirken Our Lady of Conception (storslået udsigt til billeder af Portimão City og Arade-floden). Nedstigning til Angrinha Beach ved Praia Grande

Sebastião ved Praça Gil Eanes Guidet besøg til fods, gennem centrum af Lagos, forbi slavemarkedet (det første slavemarked i Europa) og Santo António-kirken (1700-tallet - et enkelt stykke arkitektur). Lær Arch of Saint Gonçalo Arch (en historisk port til den gamle bydel i Lagos) og statuen af den samme helgen at kende, hvor du kan nyde en ideel ramme for fotos (Meia Praia, Praia da Batata; og det lille fort Ponta da Bandeira). Kort besøg i Praia do Pinhão og Ponta da Piedade (hvor du kan beundre fyrtårnet og klipperne med skjulte strande).

We spent a lovely day with Johnny and saw the lovely sights that the Algarve coast had to offer. As soon as Johnny picked us up he said that the day was "about us" and that he would tailor the day around us. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of the region and gave the impression that he is passionate about the subject and proud of his country. We very much enjoyed walking around Lagos with Johnny and will definitely go back and spend more time there in the future and would also like to explore the caves in that part of the coast and Johnny has offered to help us book that in the future. All in all we had a lovely day and feel that we have found a new friend.

Johnny was the best private tour guide we had during our 2-week Portugal adventure. He took us through the Algarve and showed us so many beautiful hidden spots and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. My friends and I booked this tour in advance of our visit to Algarve (there were six of us). Johnny arrived to pick us up at our hotel and we immediately knew it would be a fun day! He is warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. He customized the itinerary to make sure we didn’t overlap with anything else. We were going to see other days. He even booked us to see the Benagil caves as part of our day, which helped we had planned on doing on a separate day which helped consolidate our activities and allow more free time. He took us to so many breathtaking places and was so wonderful. I can’t recommend him enough. He also made recommendations for us as we continued our trip in Spain, which we took advantage of and were fabulous. you will not regret touring with Johnny!

Johnny gave us an excellent tour. We saw a stork farm (that's what we called it), quite a bit of fascinating coastline, and coastal boardwalks that gave great views. Johnny never rushed us and answered all of our questions. He has a great depth of Knowledge about the local environment, including problems with algae incursions, and local (Algarve) history.
We so very much appreciated Johnny's texts to us preceding our day tour. He carefully arranged a boat tour to Beagil caves - perfect time of day and operated by a courteous and informative crew that took us along the beautiful coastline and into spectular caves. Johnny's tour included a stop to see handpainted tile work - so pretty! and lunch overlooking a beautiful beach. We stopped at several amazing overlooks. Thank you, Johnny, for a wonderful day!
This tour was nothing short of amazing. Johnny truly enjoys doing this and his enthusiasm is proof of that. Johnny’s tour was the highlight of our 10 day trip to Portugal. He tailored the tour to my family and took us to the best spots and was quite the family photographer! Definitely book this trip and you will be happy you did!
