As it turned out, my husband and I were the only ones on the tour, we had our guide, Arian, all to ourselves! Tirana is a VERY busy city, so we were happy to take the long drive to the coast. During the drive Arian answered any questions we had about Albania. The hotels chosen for us were fine, clean and in a good location. Basically, we were given a lot of beach time in each town, so bring beach towels, I had to buy one. During the tour we had some interesting castle stops. Arian gave us great suggestions for activities and restaurants when we were on our own. Late September is the best time to go as there aren't many crowds.
Exceptional tour with and exceptional guide/driver. Ilir, driving us from Tirana to Saranda and along the Albanian Riviera to Vlora via Dhermi. Ilir's passion for his country, sharing personal experiences made for an extraordinary tour. Ilir should be recognised for his safe driving and congratulated on his exceptional service. Accomodation was comfortable. To have an around glimpse of the Albanian Riviera we would strongly recommend this tour.
What an amazing experience galavanting around the under rated Albanian Riviera! I booked this trip through ChooseBalkans again-Sirma was equally attentive during the entire planning process. My guide, Eri Veseli was beyond awesome! He showed me the beautiful beaches of Albania-did so with much enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion. I am extremely grateful and impressed with his ability to be fun and professional at the same time. I had the best time during this trip. Highly recommended!
The experience has been wonderful, we have thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and all thanks to Renato, who is an exceptional guide without a doubt. Very attentive at all times and taking us to places that we would not have known how to get to as tourists, adapting at all times to what we want to do. This experience on the Albanian Riviera is totally recommended and doing it through Choose Balkans has been the best thing we have done.
He Our trip through the Albanian Riviera has been exceptional thanks to Rennato, who has been able to take good care of us, is very kind and super responsible. The hotels are good, they are clean and good, except for the accommodation in Vlora and Saranda, the mattresses are about to be renewed, you sink completely and I am light. Elea's accommodation in Himara was exceptional in every way, new, clean and very good mattress.
We explored the Albanian riviera and we had the best time. Wonderful sceneries, amazing views, crystal clear beaches and amazing hospitality
We had a private tour that we developed w/the Choose Balkans team that included Tirana, Vlorë, Himare, Gjirokaster, Berat, Ohrid, and Skopje. Our tour guide Elton (Toni) was great! He let us set the schedule/pace, was an excellent driver, and shared his vast knowledge of the history and culture of the region. The hotels reserved for our tour were all comfortable & we were very satisfied with the overall experience.
It really was an amazing experience. We contacted them by chance from Argentina. From the first call to the end of our trip, they kept watching us. We traveled with my daughter in June 2023. We hired the tour and since it did not coincide with other travelers we did it privately. From the arrival at the hotel in Tirana, where Sirma was waiting until the end of it, impeccable. The driver of the car, Elton, a ten. Attentive, correct, friendly. Recommended hotels in Vlora, Himare and Saranda are very good. The Albanian Riviera, is beautiful; the stone beaches but the color of the water is amazing. We recommend visiting Albania. IT'S A BEAUTY. Thanks to Sirma, Elton and the entire Choose Balkans team.

It was a great journey with the amaizing Niko And Fony And Aldo would like to do it again and again , Accomodation and food is great . I highly recomend this trip for those who like hiking and snorkling . Choose Balkan team is really nice .
