Al Jahili-fortet har været et kulturelt omdrejningspunkt for aktiviteter forbundet med filosofi og arv fra Abu Dhabi i Garden City. Al Jahili er et af de største forter i UAE og blev bygget i 1890'erne på ordrer fra Zayed The First som hjemsted for medlemmer af Al Nahyan regerende familie.
Qasr al-Ain eller "Al Ain Palace", er et af de bedst genindførte fort i Abu Dhabi-emiratet. Museet viser hverdagen i en linealfort, da den sene Sheikh Zayed og hans familie var bosiddende i paladset før 1966. Den beduinske stilarkitektur går tilbage til 1937 og blev omdannet til et museum i 1998 som en vigtig kulturel og turistattraktion.
Den historiske oase strækker sig over 3.000 hektar og giver et unikt indblik i regionens indbyggere, der begyndte at tæmme ørkenen for 4.000 år siden. Al Ain-oasen har været et UNESCOs verdensarvssted siden 2011, men først nu, med opførelsen af et uddannelsesmæssigt økocenter og et omfattende system af skyggefulde stier, der snor sig gennem omkring 147.000 datoer. Stedet huser op til 100 forskellige vegetationsvarianter, der omgiver den imponerende oase, med udbredte plantager, der også er landbrugsbedrifter. (I øjeblikket er museet lukket på grund af renovering).
Al Ains berømte kamelmarked er en vidunderlig nedsænkning i traditionel arabisk kultur. Fra unge arabiske kameler, der måske vokser op til at være racere, til imponerende voksne kameler, der er ideelle til opdræt, er markedet en enestående oplevelse for at få et nærmere kig på dyret, der nyder et specielt sted i Emirati-arven. Frokost tilbydes her på en restaurant.
Fotostop: Stiger 1.240 meter og er Jebel Hafit emiratets højeste top og UAEs anden. Denne ruvende klippehøjde, der står vagt over Al Ain og grænser op til Oman, er smedet ud af skørt kalksten, der er blevet forvitret i flere millioner år. Der er gjort betydelige fossile fund i området, som er vigtige brikker i puslespillet i byens gamle historie.
Denne grønne vidde ved foden af Jebel Hafeet er et andet skue, der viser de rige naturreservater i Al Ain. Green Mubazzarah, der er et populært hotspot til picnic og familieudflugter, er fyldt med familier ude for at nyde solen, eventyrere vandrer op ad bjerget og campister, der kan overnatte i telte ved basen.

This tour is perfect if you want to leave Dubai and Abu Dhabi behind and get to know a new part of the UAE! Well planned, punctual, great fixed points, lots to see and marvel at! Very good lunch in a beautiful hotel - breathtaking views from the mountains! We were very lucky to be able to spend the day with Mr Sudath! Safe driver, very knowledgeable, lots of information and a few surprises - and he speaks perfect German! Thank you very much and as many times before, the best experience with "Get your guide" - we would be happy to do it again anytime!!!!!
This was a good tour & the driver was professional. The mini van had a recorded audio tour which played as we drove. This was helpful and interesting. The fort at Al Ain was my highlight, the other stops were interesting.
Good way to see a little bit about a number of places. Time spent in each is less than 30 minutes, with approx 2-hr drive there and +2-hr back. The locations are such that sufficient is seen within those 30 minutes anyway, just don't dawdle. The Guide is a recording that you listen to on the way from one location to the next. It's fine, although if you're like me, you're distracted by the sights while in the van/bus and only half-listening and the ability to ask questions is limited. The driver and associate who accompany on the travel are helpful, but not traditional "Tour Guides". That's not a complaint, just setting expectations.
Direct booking at Grayline and the email contact worked great. We were picked up at our hotel on time at the agreed time. A nice day trip with many impressions. Top vehicle with audio guide (in German) and very well functioning WiFi while driving. A very good driver who drove us very carefully to the sightseeing points. Lunch at Hotel Ayla Bawadi (buffet) was excellent. Very good value for money! The tour we can recommend.
This could have been a spectacular tour as the sites to visit on the tour are. However Dennis the man who supposedly labels himself a tour guide was useless. Firstly they were an hour late to collect myself & others on the tour with no apology extended. Dennis just took us to the locations & explained nothing. During the long periods in the bus when he could have been explaining the different areas & history he was more preoccupied with his phone. At Jebel Hafeet they didn't even bother to take us to the top & at Green Mubazzarah they drove in & out again without advising everyone they wouldn't stop. I would certainly recommend that people visit Al Ain but with a different tour company.

I had a very good time. Driver was knowledgeable and patient with me. Food: one of the best I had opportunity to taste during my visit to UAE.
We got to see all the mentioned locations. Lunch was delicious. Very interesting tips during the guide. Great way to spend a day out of crowds.
For this tour we have been only 3 persons Our driver perfect and very frendly The program was in excess to our expectations
Very cordial and effective contact with the platform for the organization the day before. Good information. We had several times the same very friendly guide (English language, the only French is in the audio guide). We were lucky (not for Grayline) to be alone twice, which gives a lot of flexibility to the schedule. Pick-up and drop-off at the hotel without problem. The Al Ain day was very well planned and interesting.
Had a very pleasant visit to this place!!! Would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.
