Al Ain, i De Forenede Arabiske Emirater (UAE), er en indre oase by på den østlige grænse med Oman. Det er kendt som Garden City for sine palmer, naturlige kilder. Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum, også kendt som "Al Ain Palace Museum", er et museum i byen Al Ain inden for Emiratet Abu Dhabi, De Forenede Arabiske Emirater.

Siden åbningen i 2008, har Al Jahili Fort - beliggende omkring en halv time fra Abu Dhabi i den frodige have by Al Ain - været et fokuspunkt for aktiviteter forbundet med filosofi, kultur og arv af Abu Dhabi. Al Jahili er en af de største fæstninger i UAE, bygget i 1890'erne på ordre af Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, også kendt som Zayed den Første, som hjemsted for medlemmer af den regerende Al Nahyan familie. Bygget af soltørret mudder, blev det tidlige restaureringsarbejde foretaget på fortet i 1985, efterfulgt af et stort rehabiliteringsprojekt af kultur- og turismeafdelingen - Abu Dhabi mellem 2007 og 2008. Omgivet af en frodig park, har det fortryllende fort modtaget den prestigefyldte Terra Award for Internal Design og Layout i 2016. Omdannet til et kulturelt centrum og turistattraktion, huser det nu et midlertidigt udstillingsgalleri samt en permanent udstilling dedikeret til Sir Wilfred Thesiger.

Beautiful green farm, very large, takes about 30 to 45 minutes by walk, free entry, buggy and scooters available at extra cost. Several plantations can be seen, dates, mango, orange, banana, various flowers and plants, etc. It is next to Al Ain Museum and Sultan Fort. Free car parking and wash rooms, cafe are located outside.

We really enjoyed our tour with Favaz. He was very knowledgable and extremely professional. His company provided us this tour within an hour notice after another company (RAH) cancelled our prepaid, previously scheduled tour while we were waiting in the lobby to be picked up for the tour on the day. Great tour of Al Ain and the surrounding area from Abu Dhabi. Ayoob was a very knowledgeable tour guide and we had a very nice day with him showing us around. Well worth it!

Our driver spoke very poor English and therefore did not explain much of anything. Pointing out local banks was not what we went on this tour for. His driving was horrible and at one point while descending a steep and winding mountain road we had to ask him to stop using his phone. To which his response was “it was a busy time of day receiving tomorrow’s dispatch “. Even after this he continued to use his phone for the next two hours back to Abu Dhabi. There is lots to see on this tour. It would just have been nice to know what we were seeing.

We had Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain Oasis, Sheik Zayed Palace Museum closed unfortunately that day, but lunch at Ayla Bawadi Hotel was very good. Then we went to Mubazzarah Grenn Park and Jebel Hafeet Moutain. You absolutely must have done this tour, our driver Rahi had everything organized and everything under control.
