Adventure Power Boat Tour Antigua og Private Laviscount Island

Beskrivelse

Rejseplan

Apart from a tricky pick up miscommunication, this was the trip I was looking forward to and have used this company before. Bookings and emails were up to date. Small group. VERY fast powerboat ( sit at the back if you want to get V wet) loved the tortoise protected island. Great lunch provided on the island with plenty left over. Hells cave. WOW. shame I could not take a picture of us going over. The girls who took us over were very professional. Loved the reef snorkelling after. No pressure to be herded with the group. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend.
What a great day on the water with the Antigua Adventures crew- Kimba, David, and Issac. The turtles, lunch, and devils bridge were each so unique. We didn’t see a bunch of other tour groups so it really felt customized just for our 20 or so guests. Do this tour- you won’t regret it!!
This was one of my favorite activities on Antigua. The crew were excellent and the experience was a family favorite. This experience is also known as the Eco Tour. You will have the opportunity to feed giant tortoises and hold baby tortoises in a beautiful animal sanctuary. Sanctuary staff are knowledgeable and the animals look very well-cared for. This is fantastic family fun and it is less crowded than other excursions (though I’m not sure why as it is a truly wonderful experience from start to finish). The snorkeling was great too!
Captain Dave and Mark were great!! The communication was fantastic between the reservation taker and us. We wanted a bit of a sight seeing tour as well as some history and snorkeling. This trip was fantastic for that!! Captain Fave was engaging and very upbeat and happy as was Mark! Mark took us out snorkeling and pointed out many underwater things in about 15 feet of water and pulled up conch shells for a few. Great stuff! Wonderful tour at the Laviscount island turtle sanctuary. Our guide there was awesome as well! We fed turtles in the turtle zombie apocalypse which was hysterical as well! Highly recommend this trip. Great food and some rum punch at the end too!!

We had a great day with Adventure Antigua. The boat is comfortable and fun plus nice to have toilet if you need it. Our amazing crew were David, Mark and Luca, they took good care of us. Giant Tortoises were fun to feed and get photos with, then nice walk around the island. Climbing devils gate was an adventure then snorkeling added to the trip. Lunch was good and afternoon drinks were strong. Highly recommend while you are in Antigua.
Amazing! Cannot say enough wonderful things about this tour. We had a total of 10 on our tour (6 of us + 2 add'l couples). David, Mark and Makiva were our guides. They were so knowledgeable and so much fun to be around-we laughed a lot! Their professionalism was top notch. We had an amazing boat ride that took us to Laviscount Island where Isiah introduced us to the tortoises and all of the wildlife on the island. We were able to feed and pet the tortoises-so cute! Isiah shared all of his knowledge about the animals and the natural surroundings. He was great! Lunch was served on the boat from a local catering company- all delicious with a special shout out for the banana bread. We then went to Hell's gate where Mark and Makiva assisted us with climbing the rock structure- challenging but so fun and amazing views at the top. We were a group with all different skill levels trying to climb the structure, but they were so patient and helpful. Lastly we went snorkeling before our return to shore. They divided us into groups for snorkeling to make sure we got the most out of the experience. Great shirts- thank you David for the shirt off your back! By far one of our best excursions ever!
It was amazing Captain David , Leslie, and Bradley were great!! They are very personable and it shows how much they enjoy educating people about the area! The food was great the tour was great and seeing how they interacted with everyone was great! It’s hard to find genuinely nice people and I definitely woudl use them again!
Ariel, Dave and Kimi were awesome. The boat was great and they took us to some very memorable places including feeding tortoises and seeing how they are treated
David and his crew were very friendly and helpful, they were very attentive to everyone’s individual needs and abilities and always there to offer a helping hand or reassure. I am in my 60’s and not at all fit but still enjoyed most of the activities, although I found the short climb on uneven ground to the top of Laviscount island challenging in the heat. The snorkelling was really good and we saw a variety of fish plus turtles whilst on the boat. I decided not to do the climb up Hells Gate but my husband did. He was provided with water shoes as the rocks are sharp, he found it quite tricky but the crew are there to guide. You get the option to stay on the boat or snorkel if you choose. Lunch was simple but tasty, pasta salad, bbq chicken and green salad. Plenty of cool drinks provided during the day. The boat goes fast! There are plenty of bumps and you’ll get sprayed with water occasionally, we really enjoyed this. I took a sea sickness tablet as a precaution but everyone was fine in our group of 4 couples. Take plenty of sunscreen and some water for the island walk. Buoyancy aids, water shoes and snorkelling gear provided. On the return you are offered a very good rum punch and some excellent banana bread, the perfect end to a great day.
Thanx for your very kind and thorough review. Glad you enjoyed.
