Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque er det første stop på din halvdags sightseeingtur. - Fodsslitage skal fjernes, inden man kommer ind i moskeen. Mænd må ikke afsløre noget kød over deres knæ, og deres skuldre skal være dækket. Kropstatoveringer skal dækkes. Solbriller i god kvalitet anbefales. Hatte anbefales, når de er i direkte sollys.
- Gæster, der besøger De Forenede Arabiske Emirater i sommermånederne (juni-september), rådes til, at de højeste dagtemperaturer nogle gange når 42-45 grader Celsius. Luftfugtighedsniveauer kan også overstige 90 procent i denne periode. Vi anbefaler alle vores gæster at tage passende forholdsregler.

We had a Fun, knowledgeable, informative and professional tour of Dubai City led by Chamil our tour guide who made the experience memorable with anectodes and engaging commentary. He gave us time to site see and even fo a spot of shopping at the Gold Souq. Kishore our driver also made the trip great with water for hydration. Thanks guys.

Beautiful mosque, where there are plenty of opportunities to take pictures, eat and drink. There are also plenty of shade pitches, for when it is very hot. We had tourguide Mohamed, booked through Getyourguide. For 100 euros we were picked up (2 people) from our hotel with a van, this was 1:40 hours drive to the mosque. During the ride Mohamed gave us a lot of information about the country, the people and the mosque. He did this in an interactive way, which generated a lot of enthusiasm among the people. A top performer, who clearly enjoys doing his job. He speaks very good English.
The tour covered the main highlights of Abu Dhabi which was perfect. Sufficient time to see and take in everything. Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable, excellent with the kids and very witty keeping things enjoyable for all.
This is my second visit to the Grand Mosque, my last visit being 4 years ago. Since that time an underground car Park has been built which is attached to a shopping center. From here there is a short registration process and ladies are given an abaya and men trousers (unless you come appropriately dressed). This links to the entrance to the mosque via walking escalators. We picked up a mobile information headset in exchange for some ID and walked around the astoundingly beautiful mosque whilst given facts about the mosque. There are walking tours as well but we didn’t want to wait. It’s all free and takes around 1 hour. Absolutely worth a visit.
It's a place which brings serenity. The place is built of white marble. It keeps you spellbound with the nature of architectural wonder place of worship.
I last visited in October 2018 and you were free to walk around on your own and see inside the mosque. Now you should get a guided tour so that your will get to see the magnificent chandeliers and the biggest carpet in the world. The architecture is amazing and the details the floor, walls, and pillars will blow your mind. I am going to do the tour the next time I go to get more information about this incredible place.
Access takes place through an appreciable underground passage in case of high heat. The visit is pleasant with places reserved for photos. Watch the clothing!
One of the most beautiful Mosque I Have Ever Seen, it is not only large but also very beautiful with unique Architecture, I Strongly Recommend Everyone to Visit at least once and see the beauty of Mosque..
I was impressed that we were on time from the beginning of being picked up at the hotel. Gabor and the driver kept us on schedule the entire day, without feeling rushed. There were two highlights of the tour. First, our tour guide, Gabor, was fabulous. His passion and knowledge made the tour that much more interesting. He is definitely an expert in history and this land and culture, as well as being nice, fun and easy going. I highly recommend Gabor. Secondly, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque was worth the hour drive from Dubai to see it. There were some other stops, including the Ferrarri Museum and a mall (for lunch), as well as driving through the city, but the Mosque was the clear winner of sights on this day trip. I was traveling solo but this would also be a great day trip for couples, groups or families...but not really for young kids. The bus was comfortable and cool. We had adequate bathroom breaks as well. I highly recommend Orient Tours as well as Gabor!!!
The grand mosque is absolutely stunning and huge The approach is magnificent After leaving your shoes outside and putting on appropriate clothing to allow entry in you go. I was agog on entering. The whole of the inside consists of marble flooring.marble pillars.and the internal walls all of which have intricate patterns. We spent many hours inside The cost to build this mosque must have been huge. If you go to Abu Dhabi this is definitely a must to see. The bus tour takes in all the best of what Abu Dhabi has to offer and you can get off and on as many times as you like which is great The zazed centre and the heritage centre give you lots of information about Abu Dhabi and it’s history and development My daughters lives in Abu Dhabi
