Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque, der er blevet navngivet til at ære den afdøde præsident, Hans Højhed Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Moskeen er stor nok til at rumme over 40.000 tilbedere, mens hovedbønhallen kan rumme over 7.000. Der er to mindre bønnehaller med en kapacitet på 1.500 hver, hvoraf den ene er kvindes bønnesal.

This tour was the only bad experience I had while in the UAE. Everything was ok until the guide took me to the market where they try charge me over $200 for curry and a pack of dates. I told them I won’t pay that much and guide told me “when I bring other tourist here they pay that price willingly”. He then pretty much got on phone calls for the rest of the tour and I couldn’t wait to get home. Before the tour was over the guide ask you to give them 5 stars and stare you down until you do. I was a solo female traveler so i didn’t want to cause too much conflict. Ended up doing the mosque tour with another guide on another day because I didn’t want this experience ruined for me.
