Absolutely fantastic tour around Xi'an city plus excursion to see the terracotta warriors. Carol was an exceptional tour guide, being incredibly informative and friendly. We were so impressed by how much knowledge Carol had! The tour was very well paced and covered all the important sites. Would 100% recommend.

My son and I had the pleasure of going to Xi’an during our Golden Triangle tour in China. The hotel accommodation was top tier and our guide Lola was the best. The only part of the trip that we didn’t enjoy was when the Chinese residents at the Terracotta Museum were invading my space by touching my hair or even trying to touch my son because they’re not used to seeing African Americans which is not the fault of Lola. She was extremely apologetic about that experience of the trip. The following day we went to Mosque and had a wonderful time plus had a fantastic lunch at the Food Gallery of Xi’an. I highly recommend Lola as your tour guide for Xi’an. She’s extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Hope to see you soon again!

The trip to Xi'an was amazing. From the moment we got off the bus, until the moment we crossed through security, Carol was with us every step of the way. Her knowledge of the Chinese culture and history was 2nd to none and delivered in a way for someone to understand with little previous exposure like myself. Carol perfectly balanced keeping our tour on schedule and allowing sufficient time to take pictures. So happy with our tour and having Carol as our guide.

Celine was a very good tour guide. Not only did she always provide interesting information about the places and monuments we visited, but she also took special care to ensure that everyone always knew what was on the itinerary and could prepare accordingly. At the same time, she is a very positive person with a great presence, and her cheerful disposition and love for her hometown of Xi’an are contagious. Thank you.

An amazing few days in Xi'an. LOLA and driver Mr Gao managed to get us to the terracotta warriors through dragon boat festival traffic so that we arrived at a reasonable time. Lola's knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious and she was well equipped to make sure we could hear her. We also went to the Muslim quarter and big wild goose pagoda. Lola had great shopping advice and the highlight of my trip to Xi'an was hearing the chanting/singing by the monks (?) at the pagoda. Lola also helped us order an authentic Chinese lunch complete with red peanuts. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic tour - making your own terra cotta figure and the trip to Huashan are unforgettable experiences in Xi'an. Roger Yan was a very wonderful guide - his extensive knowledge about history and also current day Xi'an added so much to our trip. His experience ensured that we were always in the best spots at thr terra cotta museum to get the best views, and his advice on the local delicacies meant we always ate well.

We were only in Xi’an for two days, and booked a private full day tour, which included the Terracotta Warriors, giant goose pagoda, city wall, and the Muslim quarters. The whole tour experience was great. The Terracotta Warriors is a must see when in Xi’an. Our tour guide was Celine, she was great and provided us detailed history of the warriors and guided us seamlessly from one side to the other. Another highlight was when she brought us to a local restaurant for lunch. Hu Lu ji (Gourd chicken) is a must try dish. If coming to Xi’an ask for Celine.

During our recent visit to Xi’an, we had a wonderful experience with Rita from Travel China Guide. She was knowledgeable about the sites that we visited and provided good suggestions for other things to experience.

We just finished a 2-weeks Silkroad private tour. One stop was Xian where my son developed gastroenteritis. Our tour guide Carol accompanied us to a nearby hospital for emergency care. She helped us navigate the entire process, running around different departments for my son’s examination and reports, helped us communicate with the doctors and nurses and even got all the official receipts to streamline my insurance claims! She stayed with us until my son finished his IV - it was pass 9pm - 12+ hour work day for Carol! And she was punctual early next morning and continued to provide excellent guide for the remainder group! She knows the picture spots and helped us take beautiful pictures!
