Machame-ruten er en af de smukkeste ruter til toppen af Mt Kilimanjaro. Bestigningen begynder i den frodige regnskov og følger en sti, der lejlighedsvis byder på udsigt over Mt Meru, Shira Ridge samt hovedtoppen af Mt Kilimanjaro – Kibo. Machame-ruten indeholder flere stejle passager og højere højder end Marangu- og Rongai-ruten og er lidt mere krævende.

This hiking trip was by far the nicest one I’ve ever done! Even though I booked this trip on a short notice, everybody was eager to help me and rent all the gear. We hiked up for 6 days and managed to reach Uhuru peak. All was well organised from the beginning to the end, which made me feel safe throughout the journey. Everything was thought of: Fresh food prepared by a cook, water for wash, very capable guides that pushed my group up the summit and professional advice at all time. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere of the team too. I can only recommend!!!
