Sharon gave us the best experience in St Thomas on our 6-hour tour as we were in port for a cruise day!!!! She was so very friendly and gave us so much history of St Thomas! It is one of the best tours we’ve taken. I highly recommend it. We were a family of 6 and having transportation with A/C IN June was a mistake! Thanks Sharon for an amazing day!
Desmond was the Best!!! St Thomas had a Annual Celebration so we couldn't go down town, but Desmond made up for it by showing and telling us about interesting facts about the Island and surrounding island, Desmond was on time, nice, knowledgeable, FUNNY, had a great sence of humor, a great driver and i will go as far as to call him a friend now, WHEN we come back we will be using Raymonds Taxi Service and we will ask for Desmond, not saying all drivers are not great, probably are but we got Desmond first and we will request him any time we are there. the island is Beautiful and he showed us why. Thank you Desmond for a great tour and a wonderful day in St Thomas, we got back to our Ship with time to spare which we needed to see some of the shops at port.
We booked a private 6-hour tour in St. Thomas expecting a high-quality, organized island experience, but unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. The guide was completely unaware of our booked itinerary, assuming we had only a 4-hour tour rather than the 6 hours we paid for. The tour lacked any professional engagement and there was very little commentary or information shared about the island’s history or landmarks. More concerningly, after our first stop, the guide picked up his daughter, who remained in the van for the rest of the day. While he mentioned she was training to be a driver, we did not appreciate having an unannounced passenger on what was booked as a private tour and she clearly had no interest in training to be a driver. While we did get to see a lookout point, Mountain Top for daiquiris, and snorkeling at Brewers Bay Beach, the entire day felt disorganized and lacked the hospitality you expect from a private booking. We would not recommend this service if you are looking for an informative or professional tour of the island.
St Clair and Robert were great. Although don't take their advice and go to Coki Beach if you have young kids, it's too rough. Stick with Megan's Bay. Our family of 10 (5 adults and 5 young kids) had a great time.
Driver didn’t show. I called and he wasn’t aware of the booking. He quickly made his way to us 30 mins after the initial reservation time. He then didn’t have the itinerary provided by Viator. He was nice but I was already frustrated.
Desmond was knowledgeable about St. Thomas history and botony, which was important to us, an otherwise gave a competent and enjoyable tour.
Raymond was fantastic. He knew so much about the island. Stopped at all the great stops and left us ample time at each spot to do as we wished. Our group ranged from 6yrs old to 72 yrs old and there was 9 of us. Stunning views and he could answer any questions we had about the history. We felt safe the whole time. The van was clean, had AC and cold water as promised. Climb the 99 steps if you can to Black Beards Castle but those in our party that couldn't he drove them to the top. He was so accommodating and kind. Try to connect with him before you get off the ship when you have Wi-Fi so you can coordinate exactly where you will be for pick if you are getting off at the cruise port. Thanks again for a great time.
Really liked that this tour gave us the opportunity to have just our family together on the tour, and to tailor it to our wants. The only downside was the driver provided more historical information than we wanted, and for some unknown reason he was reluctant to take us to our preferred beach.
We had an absolutely spectacular day with Raynier in St Thomas and would highly recommend this tour.
It was nice to see the whole island and learn the history. Charley and his teainee were absolutely fabulous and very accommodating.
