Well, it was quite possibly the best time of my life. Truly life changing. The people were amazing, the food and hospitality were beyond incredible, and every one of our hotels was luxurious ibeyond belief!! And the animals!! Our guide Swalehe was the sweetest human being, and we felt so safe with him. He was so knowledgeable about the terrain and animals. I now realize a guide is one of the most important parts of a safari! We love him — we literally cried and hugged before we left him! We talk about him every day and how magical he made the experience with his knowledge, humour, and amazing driving skills!!! And the animals… We saw the Big 5!! We knew going into a safari that it is nature — you’re on her schedule, not yours. We practiced patience and lots of “pole pole,” and the animals came. We saw animals nonstop. It was unreal! They would come out and walk right in front of us! We did Arusha / Tarangire / Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater! Each park was magical and completely different!! I can’t recommend Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours enough!! Thanks to Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours and our guide Swalehe for the most amazing experience of our lives!!! They made everything so easy. We didn’t have to do a thing — every single detail was planned for us. We truly felt like royalty!

Everything was organised perfectly - from the airport pickup to every day of the trip - and we always felt well taken care of. We were very lucky to get Swalehe as our safari guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about wildlife and nature. Thanks to him, we managed to see the “special six” - rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo - plus so many others like civet cats, bush babies, and hyenas. We even got to see baby lions and cheetahs, which was a real highlight. Swalehe’s respect for the animals and the environment really stood out. Every drive felt meaningful, and we learned so much along the way. Huge thanks to Swalehe and the Kilimanjaro umoja tours team for an unforgettable adventure - truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

My husband and I joined four other people on a group safari with 14 people for 6 days, and it was absolutely fantastic. The package included full board at all the wonderful lodges and camps, and the only expenses we had were for the cocktails and drinks at the poolside bar at the Lake Manyara Kilimamoja lodge and Seronera Wildlife Lodge. The food was plentiful and delicious, including the packed picnic lunches we took with us on the game drives. Our driver Swalehe was excellent; he was attentive to everyone's needs, and it helped that the other couples also spoke English, making it easy to share the truck. In the end, we all got along well and became great traveling companions. During these 6 days, we saw numerous animals, wonderful sights, and even visited a Maasai village. Swalehe was so good that we didn't want the experience to end. I highly recommend Kilimanjaro Umoja tours.
