Se alle templer på én dag omkring Angkor-komplekset er umuligt, da der er mere end 70 ruiner i denne Angkor arkæologiske park. men det, vi skal gøre og se, er anderledes, og selvfølgelig vil vi ikke se dem alle, kun store templer!!! Vi skaber denne unikke måde at se alle disse templer mindre overfyldte så meget som muligt gennem vores oplevelse.

Start først med Angkor Wat Temple.
Dette er et berømt tempel af filmen Tomb Raider. Ta Prohm (prasat ta prohm) er det moderne navn på templet i Angkor, Siem Reap-provinsen, Cambodja, bygget i Bayon-stil stort set i slutningen af det 12. og begyndelsen af det 13. århundrede og oprindeligt kaldt Rajavihara. Beliggende cirka en kilometer øst for Angkor Thom og på den sydlige kant af East Baray, blev det grundlagt af Khmer-kongen Jayavarman VII som et Mahayana-buddhistisk kloster og universitet. I modsætning til de fleste Angkor-templer er Ta Prohm i stort set samme tilstand, som den blev fundet i: den fotogene og atmosfæriske kombination af træer, der vokser ud af ruinerne og jungleomgivelserne, har gjort det til et af Angkors mest populære templer blandt besøgende. UNESCO optog Ta Prohm på verdensarvslisten i 1992.
Dette er et af det skjulte tempel i denne arkæologiske park.
Bayon er et rigt dekoreret Khmer-tempel i Angkor i Cambodja. Bygget i slutningen af det 12. eller begyndelsen af det 13. århundrede som statstempel for Mahayana-buddhistkongen Jayavarman VII, står Bayon i centrum af Jayavarmans hovedstad, Angkor Thom Efter Jayavarmans død, blev den ændret og forstærket af senere hinduistiske og Theravada-buddhistiske konger i i overensstemmelse med deres egne religiøse præferencer. Bayons mest karakteristiske træk er mængden af fredfyldte og smilende stenflader på de mange tårne, der stikker ud fra den øverste terrasse og klynger sig omkring dens centrale top. [3] Templet har to sæt basrelieffer, der præsenterer en kombination af mytologiske, historiske og verdslige scener. Det vigtigste konservatoriske organ, det japanske regeringshold for beskyttelse af Angkor (JSA), har beskrevet templet som "det mest slående udtryk for den barokke stil" i Khmer-arkitektur, i modsætning til den klassiske stil i Angkor Wat.
Pre Rup var dedikeret til den hinduistiske gud Shiva, og det er sandsynligvis placeret på en tidligere shiva ashram, bygget af Yasovarman I i det forrige århundrede.[6] Måske stod den i centrum af en ny hovedstad bygget af Rajendravarman, med det sydlige dige i East Baray som den nordlige bygrænse, men intet af boligerne overlevede[6] og denne "østlige byhypotese" af Philippe Stern blev aldrig bekræftet ved arkæologiske opdagelser.

I and my friend booked a tour for our 1st day in Angkor, to get good understanding of the place, history and specifics. We deeply enjoyed the tour with Mr. Win Sok: it was full of details on history and architecture, he has shown us the best views and paths, last but not least provided us with a good place to have a lunch. Deep thanks to our driver, who moved us smoothly from one place to another! Angkor amused us deeply, we'll continue to discover it in the nearest days and maybe take some other tour for the countryside as well.
We had a tour with Mr Lux ( Nguon Sominea) and we really enjoyed it. What we liked most is: 1. that the guide was very professional and well-educated with excellent command of English 2. Very friendly and with great photographic skills 3. Time management- we’ve managed to visit many things within a good amount of time which is impossible if we were on a group tour. 4. Wet towels with eucalyptus oil - very refreshing and giving a lot of energy 5. The opportunity to dive deeper in the culture since Mr Lux has a very good knowledge in history and culture. Oh my goodness, what an experience! My second trip to Siem Reap, this time I brought my 82yo dad. I re-booked Lux having used him on our last trip. He’s nothing short of amazing. Two days - he adjusted our agenda for what my dad could cope with. He is extremely knowledgeable but doesn’t bombard you with info. Just perfect. We visited the main temples in the Angkor Wat park, also some smaller less-known ones (my faves!). Also visited the Tonle Sap lake. He took us to lovely local places for coffee breaks and lunches. Can’t wait to return. And will definitely be booking Lux again!

What a fantastic day! Upon request our tour was customized with no problem. We had a leivste van and driver and i could not have asked for more. Very reliable. If i ever need a toir or transportation i no longer have to guess. I would highly recommend ss this was my second tour. I will oc course recommend to anyone. Perfect english was spoken and such a great personality!!!! It did not fel like a tour guide but more like a new local friend. Im very happy

It was our second visit to Angkor Wat abd we wanted it to be different. We knew Lux from our previous trip where we did the Siem Reap city tour. We discussed our expectations with him and he proposed a one day tour taking this consideration. Lux is very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible guide. He knew the very details of the temples in Bantey Srei and Angkor. He was always there to provide appropriate information and attentive to our remarks. We had an extraordinary day with him.

We used Lux and a driver for a tour of the major temples. We did not want to see the sunrise so Lux suggested a sunset to finish, which worked really well for us. Also, we had friends with us that have limited mobility and Lux was able to obtain permission to get our vehicle across the more and right up to Angkor Eat which was "above & beyond" expectations. Consequently, we would very highly recommend Lux and all his knowledge.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Heang, was brilliant--encyclopedic memory of Hindu and Buddhist pantheons of gods and iconography, and a passionate way of recounting the myths and philosophies behind them. The vehicle was very comfortable, tour was well paced, with breaks from the hot sun, and Heang was flexible and accomodated to our interests and needs. Highly recommended.
