Our experience with Lion King Adventures Safari was excellent. We felt the price was very reasonable for everything that was included, and the accommodations were comfortable throughout the trip. We were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five and so much more, making it an unforgettable experience. The true highlight of our safari, however, was our guide, Venance. With 15 years of experience as a safari guide, his expertise was obvious from day one. Everywhere we went, other guides seemed to know and respect him, which spoke volumes about his reputation. His knowledge extended far beyond the animals. He taught us about the national parks, trees and plants, local culture, and the surrounding environment, making every game drive educational as well as exciting. We chose not to hire a tracker, and we never felt like we needed one because Venance’s eyes were incredible. Even while navigating rough terrain, he was able to spot animals—like lions resting in distant trees—that many other guides drove right past. Thanks to him, we saw animals that other safari vehicles completely missed. He was also an exceptional driver. He confidently handled the safari cruiser through challenging terrain, got us to sightings quickly, and our vehicle never experienced the breakdowns that we saw happen to several others. Beyond his professional skills, Venance was simply a wonderful person. We enjoyed talking with him about life, Tanzania, and so many other topics throughout the trip. One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating he was. After a few days, we realized the food at some of the lodges just wasn’t for us. We mentioned that we’d love to try authentic Tanzanian cuisine instead, and Venance took us to a beautiful outdoor restaurant where we were able to sample a variety of traditional dishes. It ended up being one of our favorite meals of the entire trip and gave us an even greater appreciation for the local culture. He truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The only aspect of the experience that left me feeling disappointed had nothing to do with Lion King Adventures themselves, but with the accommodations for safari guides. At some of the hotels, there wasn’t space for Venance and the other guides to stay overnight. Knowing that the people who work so hard to create unforgettable experiences for tourists sometimes don’t have comfortable accommodations was genuinely upsetting. I hope safari companies and lodging partners continue working together to ensure guides have safe, comfortable places to stay. They dedicate so much to making these trips special, and they deserve the same care and respect in return. Overall, this was truly the trip of a lifetime, and Venance played an enormous role in making it so. If you’re fortunate enough to have him as your guide, you’re in excellent hands.

What an incredible time! We’ve had the time of our life and wish we could stay longer than what we did. Tarangire and Ngorongoro are amazing, but the Serengeti is without a doubt the star of the show. Just WOW! Our guide, Enoch, has been amazing and super knowledgeable. We’ve trusted him to make every decision and they have alll been incredibly rewarding. We saw the Big Five and so much more in our short time and he has shared amazing knowledge, knows where to go, and is proud of his country in a way that makes travelling with him super fun and rewarding. If you’re doubting your visit or worried about the price, believe me it’s worth it! I wish I had more time enjoying the parks and seeing all the animals! Thank you so much Enoch for showing us around!! We can’t wait to be back.

We’ve just completed an unforgettable 5-day safari in Tanzania with Lion King Adventures, visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. The team worked with us to create an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests, timeframe and budget. Communication before the trip was excellent, with plenty of helpful information shared. The accommodation was fantastic throughout, but Nyota Luxury Camp was truly magical. Staying in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by wildlife, was an experience we’ll never forget. Seeing lions and hippos so close to our tent while still feeling completely safe was something incredibly special. The food was excellent at every stop, with delicious meals at the lodges and great lunches provided during our safari days. A huge thank you to our guide, Goodluck. He was calm, patient and exceptionally knowledgeable, and his passion for Tanzania and its wildlife really shone through. He struck the perfect balance between making sure we had incredible wildlife encounters while always respecting the animals and their natural environment. We never felt rushed, and his experience meant we were often in exactly the right place at the right time. This wasn’t just a holiday—it was a truly special experience filled with memories that will stay with us forever. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Amazing experience overall! Since the beginning the communication with Lion King was clear, they reply quickly and you can make changes in the safari to meet your needs. All the trip was amazing: the lodges we stayed, the people, the animals we saw, the food etc! Special mention to our guide Leonard, who did his best to make it possible to see the big 5 (we did it!) and make us comfortable and enjoy the whole trip!

First of all I would like to say what an amazing country Tanzania is, the people are lovely and welcoming. The safari was unbelievable from start to finish, our guides Yusuph and Fredy were amazing, making us feel very welcome and very comfortable. We started our safari in Tarangire which was a great start seeing loads of animals, this day came to an end and we set off the next morning to Ngorongoro with Yusuph and Fredy being determined to find the lions, leopards and cheetahs which we eventually saw after hard work from the guides. We left Ngorongoro and headed to Serengeti for the second half of the day which was amazing. We stopped off at the massai tribe which was a brilliant experience. Thank you so much to our guides and Lion King for arranging such an amazing and unforgettable trip. Overall would really recommend Lion King Adventures to plan your trip, I trust them 100% and would recommend to all friends and family.

The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Booking and receiving a bespoke package was easy, with regular correspondence from the lion king adventures customer service team. They were always professional and efficiently dealt with all queries-I would definitely recommend. Having this experience prior to leaving the UK reassured us of an exciting and successful safari….and we weren’t disappointed! Enock was an exceptional guide, he had specialist knowledge of a wide range of topics, from the ecosystems of the various regions we visited, to how they’ve formed, and the human communities that have inhabited these areas. He made an extra effort to ensure he learned about our safari goals and worked tirelessly to make sure we had these met (our lion and leopard hunts were pretty thrilling!). His passion for the region is clear and his excitement at seeing wildlife in their own habitat, despite him doing this for years, was pretty special. We had an amazing time, this safari exceeded all our expectations….prepare to be wowed! We will be recommending this company to our friends and family for sure.

Outstanding service and experience provided by Lion King Adventures. Our 5-day safari surpassed all expectations for me and my husband on our honeymoon. Everything was seamless - all transfers, accommodation check ins, communication with Pendo when initially booking, were handled amazingly. We were truly lucky to have had our guide Musa take us on the journey through Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. Musa shared all of his knowledge on the areas and wildlife and looked after us so well. He made us feel comfortable, safe and really made us laugh. Genuinely he made the trip unforgettable. Thanks to his experience as a guide, and unbelievable knowledge of the roads and routes in the Serengeti, we got to see the big 5! I will recommend Lion King adventures to absolutely anyone that is interested in doing a safari. Plus, if we ever are lucky enough to get to do this type of trip again, we will hands down be coming back to Lion King - and we will be requesting our now good friend Musa!
