Joseph with Westar Travel was our guide and he did the best job I've ever experienced. He is knowledgeable, prompt, polite, enthusiastic and always on time. He went out of his way to accommodate our every need and I highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Very well organized. Each day was filled with good choice of activities. Tourist guides were all very professional, thoughtful, and patient. A very good experience for us. Customer services team was also very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to our great guides during this five-day trip. They are Vincent Mao, Helena He, and Joseph Mao. Especially Joseph who not only is very clear about instructions but also told us lot about historical stories of a place. We have gained a lot of knowledge from him. Thanks!
I recently joined a 5-day, 4-night tour from Calgary to Jasper to Banff with Geoff, Kan, and Joseph, and I can confidently say they are some of the most thoughtful, dependable, and professional guides I’ve ever travelled with. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their knowledge and professionalism truly stood out, as they took the time to explain the history and significance of every place we visited in great detail. I was travelling with an elderly family member, and the care and patience they showed throughout the trip was greatly appreciated. Their kindness and dedication made the journey especially enjoyable, and we both left with wonderful memories from the experience.

The trip to Calgary is my long-standing wish. It is fortunate to join a five-day Westar team with friends from Taiwan, it is not wrong! Successful travel is the time of the locals and, these days, the sun always appears in the important moment of photography, the country is Canada's landscape / resources / geographic environment, is world-class beauty! Finally, people and also important, our friends plus just graduated international students, only 8 people's team, especially Kan Ma is a class driver and tour guide, carefully arranged, help with luggage, really very careful, I would like to recommend friends or I would like to group again to find him as our tour guide. Because I love listening to his introductions and history, let me know the culture and attractions of Canada, like our family and friends!

We have a 5-day vacation to explore the Banff and Yoho national park, as well as Banff town. It is incredibly beautiful even in the winter season.

Airport service counter no people there, need to call for arrangements First couple days tour in Jasper are the best. We very enjoy the arrangements. Luckily we have best tour guide, professional manners, taking care every customer every stops we been. Very appreciated his service. (Patrick) Following that two days day trip not as lucky. Day 3 tours guide very knowledgeable, by listening the history and geography around Banff is quite enjoyable.(Joseph) Unfortunately, last day we have a tour guide who seem not enjoy to work as tour guide (HH), she introduced every stops by reading cheat sheet, not given instructions where towards the place we should visit. Fortunately bus driver Joe did it for her few times. If we had her to start with our trip I will definitely given one star for the company review. The other two tour guide and drivers are very friendly with professional manners.
This was my first time joining a 5-day tour to Banff, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking natural scenery to the well-organized itinerary, every moment was enjoyable and enriching. I would especially like to thank our tour guides Kan, Geoff, and Helena from Westar Travel. Their professionalism, responsibility, and deep knowledge of the local culture and attractions made this trip not only smooth but also highly educational. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to fully appreciate the beauty of the Canadian Rockies while learning so much along the way. I’m very grateful for their dedication and guidance throughout the journey. This trip was an unforgettable memory, and I look forward to traveling with Westar again in the future!
Much to my dismay I had to cancel our tour,I called Chris and ask if there were anyway we could be refunded the tour cost and/or the pre-night and post night at the Best Western, she said probably not a refund on tour but we should be able to get our pre and post night stay refunded, she would find out. I waited 2 days and tried to call her back but she couldn’t come to the phone. So I talked with Jimmy and ask him the same questions and added that if I can’t get my money back, I have 2 friends wanted to to take our place, could we transfer our tour. He said he would ask and call me back. I waited 2 more days , then called Jimmy back and he said no to refund , no pre and post nights, and no to transfers. I ask why no transfers, he said hotels had our names and couldn’t be changed. I did call BW to check and they said we weren’t registered.
Dear Zigmun, We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment and that you decided not to join our tour after booking. We completely understand how frustrating it can be when travel plans change unexpectedly. As discussed during your initial call with our team, your request came outside of the cancellation period outlined at the time of booking which states that 100% of the order amount is non-refundable for cancellations made 0-15 days before departure. Your tour was due to start on August 6, 2025, and the first call you made was on August 2 (weekend), only 4 days before the tour start date, and when our operations team was not in the office. Our front-line staff gathered your questions to confirm with them once they returned, which we communicated at the time. Regarding your request to transfer the booking to friends, we truly wish we could accommodate that, but the hotels and other suppliers involved have strict policies that prevent guest name changes once confirmed. This is a policy on their end, not ours, and unfortunately leaves us unable to make exceptions. Highly recommended! I would definitely choose this tour again—it was incredibly convenient and allowed us to see so many attractions over just 5 days. Everything was well-organized and ran on time. Our tour guides and drivers were fantastic—shoutout to Stella, Daryl, and Simon! You were all so knowledgeable and engaging. Larry, our bus driver, was also wonderful! The hotels selected for the tour were excellent as well. Please note: a mandatory tip of $15 CAD per person, per day, is collected at the end of each day.
