Trin 1: Turen starter på øens østkyst med dens storslåede sorte sandstrande og berømte surfspots! Undervejs på ruten vil der være stop på 5-10 minutter, hvor man kan tage billeder, få information fra guiden osv.
TRIN 2: Oplev Tahiti fra en unik vinkel! Turen begynder langs øens østkyst med dens storslåede sorte sandstrande og berømte surfspots, inden den går ind i hjertet af Papenoo-dalen, Tahitis største. Denne fordybelse i hjertet af øens frodige natur vil give dig mulighed for at opdage dens essens på en autentisk og unik måde. Turen inkluderer kommentarer og stop ved flere bemærkelsesværdige steder, der byder på betagende landskaber helt op til Caldera, et udslukt vulkankrater, der fødte Tahiti Nui. Du vil blive forbløffet over de majestætiske vandfald, de grønne bjerge, den frodige vegetation og den lokale flora og fauna. TRIN 3: Efter at have dækket halvdelen af øen og nået Caldera fortsætter udflugten med et besøg i den autentiske landsby Fare Hape, et sted fuld af historie, hvor du vil opdage de tahitiske indbyggeres traditionelle liv (marae, fare, tahitisk ovn osv.). Vi anbefaler, at du medbringer en sandwich eller en snack til frokost, inden du tager af sted. Til det formål stopper vi ved et supermarked, hvor du kan købe, hvad du har brug for. Frokosten indtages i autentiske og maleriske omgivelser i landsbyen Fare Hape, hvor du kan nyde en velfortjent pause. Vi anbefaler også på det kraftigste, at du medbringer din egen vandflaske eller vandflasker, så du kan holde dig velhydreret under udflugten. Der venter dig en lille overraskelse, når du fordyber dig i polynesisk kultur til et øjebliks hygge og samvær.
TRIN 4: Eventyret fortsætter med et stop ved tunnelen, der forbinder øst- og vestkysten og giver en spektakulær udsigt over Vaihiria, Tahitis eneste naturlige sø i stor højde. Derefter krydser du hele øen, før du vender tilbage til udgangspunktet.

Beautiful scenery but hang on for the rugged ride. Guide friendly and courteous. The stops for food at the grocery store very helpful. The lunch picnic spot was a relaxing break halfway through the drive. Highly recommend.
This tour was absolutely fabulous and we would highly recommend this tour! Our guide T’mauve (not sure spelling) was the most knowledgeable and we learned so much about the Tahitian culture. He educated us on all the nature and all the beauty of Tahiti!

The guides Temaeva was excellent. However due to landslide the road is blocked. We only went half way. Tunnel id blocked. You don't see lake Vahiria. You don't go out other side of island at Mahina. We didn't e en to to viewpoint at Maroto Restaurant. Very disappointed.

In Pape’ete you do your customers a disservice by only allowing a limited number of pickup points and then not telling the providers that that's what you have done. Every single one of them assumed that we were booked at the pickup hotel. It made the experience uncomfortable and less efficient.

Leonie is such an amazing guide! The roads that typically the tour takes, on one side of the island were unfortunately washed out due to so much rain the past few days, but Leonie still found a way to make the tour amazing for us and took another way to see some amazing scenery. She is an incredible person and taught us so much about the island and the great people here. I would not have been able to see even a quarter of what we did if not for Leonie. Fantastic scenery ready at 8.45 we didn’t get going from the supermarket till 10.00. Scenery was stunning and very dramatic unlike anything we’ve experienced in French Polynesia. Would have liked water provided.

Regarding the delayed departure time, this can occasionally happen due to several factors, including picking up all participants, traffic conditions, and the stop at the store allowing everyone to prepare before departure. As our tours are organized in groups, the schedule and pace may also depend on the needs of the participants on the day. Nevertheless, we always do our best to provide the best possible experience for all our guests. Regarding the water, we kindly ask each participant to bring their own water bottle or reusable flask for the excursion. On our side, we already provide a tasting of local fruits during the tour. We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the Papenoo Valley by jeep. If you are looking for an incredible experience, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Our guide was wonderful—so kind, helpful, and, most importantly, an incredibly skilled driver. The roads through the valley are very narrow and rugged, but she was a total professional. We felt completely safe and at ease with her behind the wheel the entire time. The trip lasted about 8 hours and included several great stops. One of the highlights was a refreshing break to swim in a beautiful natural pool, accompanied by a lovely snack. It’s clear that she has deep local knowledge, as she knew every hidden corner of the valley perfectly. I wouldn’t think of booking with anyone else. If you want a safe, authentic, and fun adventure, look no further!

While our guide on the tour through the heart of Tahiti was very knowledgeable and quite kind, I can’t recommend this trip to anyone else. Not because of the company but because the trip is 8 hours of being “bumpy” roads. It was more than bumpy, it was so jarring I felt like I was being beaten for 8 long hours. My husband was so car sick he could not enjoy any of it

However, we would like to clarify an important point regarding the route: it is not 8 hours of continuous bumpy roads. The tour alternates between paved roads, cement roads, more uneven tracks, as well as stops in the valley, at viewpoints, and at natural sites, in order to fully enjoy the landscapes and visits. We do understand that comfort perception can vary from one person to another, especially for those sensitive to motion sickness, and we regret that this may have affected your experience.
