Vores Muscat City Tour tager dig først til Grand Mosque, en af de største moskeer i landet verden åbnet lørdag til torsdag fra 8:00 – 11:00 om fredagen, den vil være lukket. Her kan beundre det næststørste håndlavede tæppe i verden og den berømte lysekrone i hovedbedesal. Forlader moskeen,
Vi kører derefter forbi operahuset indefra eller fotostopThe Royal Opera House Muscat er Omans førende mødested for musikalsk kunst og kultur. Operahuset ligger i Shati Al-Qurm-distriktet i Muscat på Sultan Qaboos Street.
Fortsæt derefter med at køre til den smukke strandvej Shatti Qurum
Herfra vi går langs corniche til den berømte Mutrah Souq, et farverigt marked med mange små gyder og passager, hvor du vil finde et udvalg af souvenirs, antikviteter og dejlige skatte.
Vores næste stop er det storslåede Al Alam-palads i det gamle Muscat, som er hans officielle palads Majestæt Kongelig Højhed Sultan Qaboos.

Saif is a competent and well informed Guide/driver. He has good English and takes the trouble to explain the background to the various sites visited. I have engaged him for further tour tomorrow.

We had an amazing evening with the insightful and friendly Hamood. Cannot recommend him enough not only his relaxed informative manner but also the way he interacted with our 5 year old daughter. The Grand Mosque was stunning and be at the Mosque and Corniche at sunset was beautiful, the time at each place was brilliant when you have a 5 year olds attention span in the group and there was plenty of lovely photo opportunities. This is a perfect excursion to take a closer look at Muscat's architectural and historic wonders. Said collected us on time from our hotel and drove nicey in his v. clean 4x4 from site to site. Being a local he knew so much about the history of the city and was v. happy answering questions. Best of all, Said was well known at the souk so we weren't heavily pestered by the stallholders! No hesitation booking again and ask for Said!

Fun tour with enthusiastic guide who knew a lot about opera house and mosque. His was Saïd el kiyumi. He was driving safely, too.

We had an afternoon trip around the city. We visited the mosque from outside, opera house inside, approached the Sultan palace and drove to old Muscat. Mohammed was very polite and helpful, stopped for good views, took photos for us. Thank you!
Our guide, Said, was exemplary. He was very informative and kept things interesting throughout. He guided us around Muscats most famous sites.

Much covered in tour….was to go for 4 hours but mine went for 5 hours … very generous. If you have only a short time in Muscat I highly recommend going on this tour & using this company.
