Det Hvide Tårn, Thessalonikis vartegn, blev bygget i det femtende århundrede efter Thessalonikis fald til osmannerne i 1430. This was a whirlwind tour, but Chris let me arrange it how I wanted so that I got most of the tough walking out of the way first. He was very helpful and aware of my limitations as I was using a walker due to a recent knee injury. Chris was also very helpful, friendly and made some great suggestions. Overall the day was very interesting and informative and I loved my time exploring what Thessaloniki has to offer.

Georgia was punctual and friendly. She made great suggestions on what to see and was thoughtful in asking how long we wanted to spend at each location. Our local tour guide was very nice, but he simply drove us from stop to stop…more of a private driver than a tour guide. As with past experiences with Viator, we were expecting him to give us some basic information about the city and various stops as we went along.

Akis was our driver. He gave us a piece of paper with a small description of each sight and an estimated length of time to stay at each sight. He was a driver and not a tour guide which was clear when I booked it with Viator. He was very friendly and flexible. We did not stay at the first sights as long as recommended so he recommended some other things including a stop at a cafe with an amazing view. We enjoyed our day very much.

Vasiliy was on time and a very knowledgeable man on the area. He tailored our tour based on what we wanted to see. He took us to a small cafe overlooking the water. We had a fantastic day and would definitely recommend him. He also got me to drink Greek coffee, it was delicious.
