Oplev Grand Canyon på en guidet Sunset Rim Tour med Canyon Ministries, der udforsker dette verdensberømte landskab fra et bibelsk skabelsesperspektiv. Turen begynder inde i Grand Canyon National Park ved Grand Canyon Visitor Center flagstang, mødes omkring fire timer før solnedgang. Vores bibelske skabelsesture i Grand Canyon National Parks South Rim inkluderer flere stop til de allerbedste udsigter med tonsvis af indsigtsfuld undervisning i løbet af dagen. Vores tur mødes ved flagstangen lige uden for Grand Canyon Visitor Center-bygningen INDE i parken ved turens starttidspunkt. Planlæg ekstra ankomsttid i løbet af foråret og sommeren. Lær om udskæringen af Grand Canyon ved det, vi kalder "sø-spillover"- eller "brudt dæmning"-modellen, noget, der først blev foreslået i geologi helt tilbage i 1800-tallet og stadig holdes af både skabelsen og nogle sekulære geologer i dag. Se ud over Grand Canyon til de fjerne Vermillion og Echo Cliffs of the Marble Platform og sydøst til dele af Painted Desert. David was extemely knowledgeable about the creation of the Grand Canyon. My wife and I learned much from him. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about the Biblical Creation of the Canyon.
Our guide Emilia was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable about the geologic formation of the canyon and did a fantastic job of weaving the history into the Bibles story of creation. She was a delight to spend the afternoon with. She filled the time with facts and information that was fascinating and was very receptive to the group's questions. This tour may not be for everyone, but as a Christian it provided a very different way of looking at the canyon. I would highly recommend this tour as an alternative to the standard walking tour or shuttle tour of the canyon.
The tour with Dana was wonderful. Highly recommend. There was a total of 7 people on our bus. Dana was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts. Her heart for the Lord and His creation was inspirational.
Great experience being first-time visitors to the canyon. We had eleven people in our group and we fit comfortably in the van. We had a nice, friendly group of people to share the tour with. Bob, our guide, was very personable with young and old alike. He kept the atmosphere light and fun for everybody. He encouraged people to ask questions while he discussed the science behind the formation of the canyon and many of the formations that we were looking at. Bad weather is always a possibility with outdoor tours and we had rain/mist up until about an hour before the tour started (the end of July is monsoon season) but Bob got us to our last stop on the tour where we climbed down some rocks, sat down on some provided blankets, relaxed, and watched a beautiful sunset over the North rim.
We covered a lot of ground, both literally and Scripturally. It was great to see so much and learn so much. Our guide, Emilia, was so friendly, very knowledgeable, and a vibrant witness.
Emelia was our tour guide. She was absolutely amazing!!! The entire tour was phenomenal. To give a little more perspective, my 20 year old son and I did a sunset Horseshoe Bend/Slot Canyon tour the evening before… the Biblical Creation Sunset Tour was so much more enjoyable and informative! We enjoyed it so much that we would definitely go back for the 8 hour tour! The 20 yr old said “this is pretty awesome” multiple times during the tour!
Amazing tour with many stops offering different views of the canyon. Our guide Emilia was extremely knowledgeable not only about the canyon, but also about biblical creationism. It was a very informative with beautiful scenery. If you're looking for a bible-based explanation of the formation of this natural wonder, or if you're open minded to the possibility, I would strongly recommend this tour.
Emilia , the tour guide was knowledgeable, listened, answered questions and made the tour interesting. We loved having Emelia as our tour guide. We wanted the Biblical World view tour and we got that!
Some friends advised us that the Grand Canyon was the one national park, we are covering on our one month driving tour, in which we should be sure to get a guide. As we were searching for guided tours I came across this organization that provides tours from a creationist viewpoint. For us this hit the bill as we are creationists and were looking for a Grand Canyon tour. While it was a little pricey we think it was worth being taken to various viewpoints and having a guide who provided stimulating input about the theories of how the Grand Canyon was formed.
This was a FANTASTIC tour! Emilia was our WONDERFUL guide. She is a top-notch ambassador for the ministry! From the first moment, she was welcoming and accommodating for all the passengers, actively engaging the entire group. She even called each of us by name, which was impressive! We were very pleased with her knowledge of geology and discussion of secular versus biblical understanding of the region. We had plenty of time for each stop. This trip was to help my parents complete their bucket list (over 11 days, we visited the Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore, Sight & Sound Theater in Branson MO) and our experience could not have been better. My mother said the Biblical Creation tour was by far her favorite aspect of the entire trip. We are huge fans. My husband and I look forward to coming back just the two of us for some rafting. We hope by then Emilia is a rafting guide. That would be AMAZING! Thank you for curating such a fantastic experience!
