Don’t book this trip! I’ve used Viator for many years and never have I ever been disappointed in their trips - until now. A few things to call out to everyone (I just want to make sure you don’t fall for the same trap): - I was placed in a group of people who all paid less than 1/3 the amount I paid for exactly the same experience (!!). On top of that I paid an additional sum of money for an upgrade to lodge and as a result I had to wait for 2 to 3 hours every morning for the rest of the group to finish their breakfast and packing up, since they didn’t pay for the lodge upgrade and were sleeping in a different location. You’ll have to wake up very early in the morning, only to drive for 30 minutes to their tented camp and wait for them to start and finish their morning routine - Contact with the tour operator is extremely poor. For example, they were 4 hours late to my briefing on day 1, plans kept changing etc. - The safari guide was more like a driver and didn’t inform us about the wildlife or knew where to spot animals. It’s been the most disappointing experience I’ve ever booked and I paid a lot of money for this safari. I recommend everyone to arrange safari on the ground in Tanzania, or with a trusted tour operator, as you end up paying a very high premium price for a disappointing experience if you book this Viator tour. Please be warned and take my advice - don’t book this trip!
Absolutely wrong 😑 it's not true don't trust him. Hi Lotte Van. This is not true ,Your complain is extremely wrong , you booked Joiners trip for the 2 night at lodge later on you upgraded 1 night from camping to lodge and all of your trip went at planned to lodge but your friends was booked to camping ,this must be same price lodge and camping and i was explaining you on arrival date and you said its okay ,but unfortunately you tried to enforced to get money back ,how can we paid for your trip to lodge ? And its too expensive 😭 it required to paid for the concession fees for every lodge out of park fees and all meals ,I tried to explain it to you but you didn't want to understand and you're asked for the refund and I told you to transfer it back to you but you denied but you come here and write false feedback, remember not one person depends to this company but many people includes the charity we own, stop doing these in a living life ,if you was need private tour you should says not a Joiners and you're too much complicated for the intire trip.
John & Isaac with Majali Tours and their crew were very professional. They took good care of us from the start of the trip to the last day. Very knowledgeable about the park animals. We’re glad to have them as our tour guides and made our first safari adventure a memorable one. We had a great time except for the rough and rocky terrain in the parks. Thank you, Majali.. good job

Majali Tours hosted my wife and I for a 4 day wildlife safari. Planning and booking was easy, they were responsive to requests for information via WhatsApp. They were there to greet us on arrival and got us to the airport for departure with time to spare on the last day. We saw a lot of animals up close, with the highlight of a pride of lions hunting a hippo at a watering hole. Hippo lived to fight another day, too bad for the lions!. Our eagle eyed driver/guide (Issac) was great, his experienced eyes were able to spot the naturally camouflaged animals and anticipate/position us at good spots to view them. He and his assistant guide (John) saw to all our needs throughout the tour - thanks Issac and John. We had a memorable trip and a great time and would highly recommend Majali for their Safari tours. We arrived as guests, left as family.

Hi. This was such a relaxed holiday .I would like to thankyou all you did with our 4 days Safari and waterfalls.
