Gogi was an amazing guide! We asked for some other sights that were not included in the original program, and Gogi was able to accommodate them, that was amazing! (We swapped Enguri Dam with Tsukatulbo. And the cave with Jvari Monastry. We also added an additional trip to Koruldi Lake, Gogi helped us find a 4x4 driver to drive up there) He also really made sure that we were hydrated the whole trip. He also has some really nice local restaurants recs, in fact that became my favorite meal in Georgia! We also had a lot of question about life in Georgia and he was very patient to answer all of them. That was super fun! We had a wonderful time in Metsia, thanks to Gogi!
Thank you. We are happy you enjoyed.
It was a fun four days with our guide Gogita. The spectacular mountain and village views, especially from the village of Ushguli, were amazing and I took several similar pictures. There is a lot of car travel, but I think it is well worth visiting this area. The valley we stopped by on our way home was beautiful too.
Thank you. We are happy you enjoyed.
I have spent 3 night in Mestia and i can say , it was one of the best things i ever did in my life. My guide George, i won't ssay many things about him, he is just the Best guide and person !!!!! Definitely suggest everyone to go there and try delicious food as well , George will help you to find good places to eat.
The tour overall was great. Gogi, our driver and guide, was magnificent. Accommodating and friendly, answered our questions and made the trip pleasant. However, more info could have been provided before the tour began. I had to reach out to the tour operator in order to find out that we were supposed to find our own accommodation in Mestia. It was also not until the day before the tour (after we have arrived in Georgia) that the operator messaged us telling us to bring boots and warm clothes. This could have been relayed ahead of time, when we were still in our home country packing, not the day before.
Gogi was a FANTASTIC guide in every sense. He engaged with us, modified plans based on our interests, and had an incredible, deep knowledge of everything we did and every place we visited. He was fun, patient, and tolerant of my singing in the car. He was truly a fantastic guide.
We can’t recommend this trip more highly. Svaneti is unmissable! We stayed two nights in Mestia and one night in Ushguli. The landscapes, towers, and food are completely distinct in Georgia. It’s a long journey from Tbilisi but painless when broken up by fascinating stops on the way there and back. Our guide, Gogi, spoke excellent English and had an incredible grasp of history. Even more importantly, he was so easygoing and able to plan perfect days for us on the go. He was also a great driver, which is a huge plus in Georgia. A must do!
This trip a must ! The stops were unique , beautiful and authentic. And our guide Gogita was great!!! Throughout the during of the tour gogi was engaging, professional and knowledgeable. If you have more than couple of days in georgia on your holiday , this tour is a must.
