9 kanoner, som Hue-håndværkere støbte i Gia Longs andet år (1803). Ni kanoner betragtes som et af de mest værdifulde bronzekunstværker. De gamle ni kanoner blev placeret ved foden af det kejserlige citadell, ved indgangen til Ngo Mon-porten – den kejserlige by Hue. Under kong Khai Dinhs regeringstid blev de flyttet til deres nuværende stilling.
Bygget i 1833 i traditionel vietnamesisk stil under kong Minh Mangs styre og brugt af kongerne til troppebevægelser og ceremonier.
Et arkitektonisk monument fra Nguyen-dynastiet beliggende midt på sydsiden af Hue-citadellet i Nam Chanh-fæstningen, som også er stedet for at hænge det kongelige hofs flag.
Dette palads er beliggende i Imperial City-området i Hue-citadellet, som er kroningsstedet for 13 Nguyen-konger fra Gia Long til Bao Dai. I feudale regimer blev dette palads betragtet som landets centrum.
Disse er ni bronzeurner, placeret foran Mieu-templet i Hue Imperial Citadel. The Nine Peaks blev bestilt af kejser Minh Mang i vinteren 1835 og indviet den 1. marts 1837.
Mieu kaldet også The To Mieu bygget i 1821 af Second Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty - Minh Mang. Dette er et tempel til at tilbede 10 konger fra Nguyen-dynastiet.
I denne del vil vi beundre kejserens mors bolig, Det Kongelige Bibliotek, Den Kongelige Sø, Den Kongelige Have samt Det Kongelige Teater.
Den forbudte lilla by hører til et kompleks af den gamle hovedstad Hue, som er centrum for dagligdagen for kongerne, deres dronninger, mindre koner og kokubiner af Nguyens kejsere. Den forbudte by ligger bag det thailandske Hoa-palads, som først blev bygget af kong Gia Long (1804). I det tredje år af Minh Mangs regeringstid (1822) ændrede kongen navnet til Forbidden Purple City.

We had Thanh as our tour guide and she was incredible! This walking tour was the best way to see the Imperial city, we started at 7am to avoid the heat of the day. Thanh had incredible knowledge and such impressive language skills to be able to answer all of our questions, she didn't miss a detail, from the tiniest pieces of mosaic artwork to the large gates and thrown. Thanh told us about the history of Vietnam as well as the Kings of Hue and the impact of the wars on the city and buildings. We went around all of the important buildings in a logical way and didn't even notice the walking! We would highly recommend this tour, especially Thanh!

The tour was unbeatable. Beem is a fantastic guide who was able to tell us the story of Vietnam as we went through the enclosure, making sense of everything we saw.
